I have 13+ solid years of experience in designing and developing creative

and visually pleasing media. I succeed in graphic design, web development,

and video production. I focus on concept, aesthetics, functionality, and

effectiveness. I use web, social, e-mail, and traditional marketing techniques.

I have a keen since of print and extensive hands on experience.

Bio:

My whole life changed when I moved to Houston, TX in 1997. I was from a

small town in Southeast Texas called Port Arthur. I was actually from

Port Neches-Groves, Nederland and Port Arthur. I moved a lot, met a lot of

different people, and made friends in each town.

I had big dreams back then. I always wanted to be a professional skateboarder.

Realistically, I didn’t think the skateboarding career was really what my family

had in mind for me. I really enjoyed art, and I would draw all the time when

I was a kid. I would draw pictures for my mom and she would reward me with

her compliments.

I was in almost every art class from 6th grade through 12th grade.

I figured that if I could paint all day, make money, and be famous when I die,

what could be better?

InsurMark - 3/2012 – 5/2013 (1 year 3 months) Houston, TX Multimedia Designer 

Design and develop Wordpress content management systems. Shoot and edit video content and create

email marketing material. Build social media profiles and implement SEO strategies. Launch and monitor lead

generating landing pages. Build and manage dedicated server with multiple client domains.

JHodgson Design - 8/2005 – 12/2011 (6 years 5 months) Houston, TX Freelancer (Print/Web/Video)

Worked with Houston-based companies such as Innova Design & Advertising, Barnes & Stonedale,Walker Entertainment Group, ALC Church, McCarty BMX , The Creative Group and Thompkins Marketing.

Managed 2 Linux web servers with over 65 client websites and email. Launched 3 Basecamp project

management systems for internal/client use. Built and admin over 13 Facebook profiles, including Twitter & 

Youtube. Educate and train clients on the use of Social Networks and Content Management websites such as

Wordpress and Joomla. Produce and edit video content for a range of clients.

Packaging and multimedia designer for the leading corrugated packaging company in Houston, TX. Helped

launch programs for clients such as Pennzoil, Wal-mart, Clorox, and Crayola. Used 3D/Photoshop renderings

to cut costs of manufacturing corrugated mockups, and expedited client approval. Trained other employees and
