The user data bandwidth configured is equal to physical link bandwidth or maximum requirement bandwidth according to actual traffic. The Physical Link BW is the minimum bandwidth of physical link connection between RNC and NodeB.

The bandwidth of OM channel is no need to be configured, the RR scheduling method and the DSCP priority guarantee the daily O&M traffic.

4. VLAN Configuration Rules

scenario 1: access RNC via router(s)

For this scenario, the recommended mode is not to set VLAN in RNC side.

scenario 2: access RNC via MSTP or other L2 network device.

Multiple VLAN need more IP addresses.

In NodeB side, you can set single VLAN for a nexthop IP address that all data passing through this nexthop IP address have the same VLAN ID and VLAN priority.

DSCPs priority of these NodeB Tx UDP packets are addressed by the RNC to the NodeB when the connection is set up. The DSCP settings are decided by the configuration of the RNC.

In NodeB side, common signaling messages are carried on the cell common channel and uplink flow control frames of HSDPA are sent from NodeB to RNC. These two types of data are transmitted by UDP packets. The DSCP value of these Tx UDP packets is the same as the value of the Signal Priority parameter of the SET DIFPRI command.If we select the "VLANGROUP" mode in command "ADD VLANMAP" when configuring VLAN in NodeB side, make sure to configure the VLAN ID of USERDATA with this DSCP value in command "ADD VLANCLASS".

In NodeB side, data of user voice and PS domain services、downloaded data by the user using HSDPA and uploaded data by the user using HSUPA

In NodeB side, the DSCPs of DHCP is 0. But about ICMP packets, there is difference between sending and responding, when sending independent, the DSCP of ICMP can be configured; nevertheless, when responding, the DSCP of ICMP is refilled according to the corresponding ICMP packets received.

The destination IP address is not recommended to be set to 0.0.0.0 in NodeB in IP transmission.If the bear type of a remote maintenance channel is set to ATM, do not set the destination IP address to 0.0.0.0 for a IP route.

1. IPPOOL scenario is supported in RAN15.0. IPPATH is also supported.

It's recommended to use "ETHIP", to connect with transmission device.We often use "DEVIP" as the SIP address in IPPOOL.
