Issue 2 Spring Term 14th January 2021 Just to remind you that if you wish to apply for an infant school place for September 2021, the deadline for applicaons is tomorrow 15th January 2021. You can apply on-line at surreycc.gov.uk/admissions or you can call 0300-200-1004. Monday 18th January at 4pm is the deadline for you to return your ballot paper for the parent governor elecon. If you dont wish to leave home, you can email your ballot paper to [email protected]. Thanks again for the kind messages and giſts you are sending in for the staff—much appreciated! Mrs Morriss has been appointed to a TA role in Year R, 2Lime, 4Aspen & 4 ELT to replace Mrs Brown who leſt at half term. She is vising tomorrow and starts on Monday. If you are accessing crical worker provision, please do let us know if your child is not aending on a day that you have booked. URGENT Please collect your childs pencil case, trainers and some learning resources from the lobby area in individually named packs. The children need them in class daily so please do come tomorrow. There are two hand saniser units in the lobby area so please make sure you sanise your hands on the way in and the way out. We are aware that occasionally parents/children are struggling to access the year group on-line learning resources. We have now put these on the website under the home school learning tab or just click here. Wednesdaysand Fridaysmetables have changed. We are providing PE from Premier Sport for crical workers' children in school weekly. Please note that children at home should therefore join the Joe Wicks session at the same me so all children are available for their Zoom live lessons. Some children at home will be asked to stay with the teacher or TA for one-to-one or small group work, so they will need to do the daily Joe Wicks session at another me that day. It is vital that children exercise daily - minimum 2 hours a week please - get that heart rate going! A stroll with the dog doesn't cut it (sorry to be so blunt) - they need to get their hearts pumping to stay fit and healthy. Wednesdays Fridays 13.10-13.40 Year 2 13.10-13.40 Year 4 13.40-14.10 Year R 13.40-14.25 Year 5* 14.10- 14.40 Year 1 14.25-15.10 Year 6* 14.40-15.10 Year 3 * UKS2 have slightly longer as they have no TA in the aſternoons . Phonics Play is used in a lot in school especially in YR where it is used to reinforce, pracse and apply phonics. School will be totally closed that day to all children including those accessing crical worker provision. Catch-up Sessions. These will obviously not be running in Spring 1. However if school reopens they may run in Spring 2 and the summer term as well. If you have already paid , we would ask you to consider leaving the payment in your childs account.
