The MZC/iPod Interface kit is designed to control all iPod models with Dock Connector*. The naviPod provides five commands; volume up, volume down, pause/play, next track and previous track. SpeakerCraft's naviPod kit includes a 5-button infrared remote control and a receiver unit that plugs directly into the top of the iPod. Also included is a SpeakerCraft IR emitter and four iPod replacement buttons. This kit combined with our MZC-66 Multi-Zone Controller, provides several additional codes to add more functions than are available with the naviPod alone.

* Some Models Dock Sold Seperately, Not Compatible With iPod mini or iPod shuffle.

SpeakerCraft's MZC/iPod Interface kit, with the MZC-66 system offers:

• Mute• Next Chapter• Next Play list• Next Track/Scan Fwd • Pause• Play/Pause• Play/Resume• Power Off• Power On• Previous Play list• Previous Track/Scan Reverse• Previous Chapter• Repeat• Stop• Volume Up• Volume Down

The enhanced naviPod code library is available on our web site and can easily be added to the existing libraries in EZ-Tools.

Once the IR codes are entered for the EZ-Pad buttons in their respective positions, the user can then control and distribute their iPod tunes throughout the house by the simple placement of an IRE-1.0 emitter on the face of the naviPod. Connect the iPod through its base to an audio input on the MZC-66. Connect the IRE-1.0 to the respective IR output port on the MZC-66 and the system is complete.

Installation:

• Insert the naviPod into the top jack on the iPod.• Place the IRE-1.0 emitter over the IR window of the naviPod.• Plug the emitter to the respective IR jack adjacent to the source input jacks on the MZC-66 where the iPod is connected.• Download the latest EZ-Tools program from the SpeakerCraft web site. This contains the 17 infrared commands for the naviPod. They are listed under Apple in the CMD Library tab of EZ-Tools.• Enter the appropriate function codes for the appropriate keypad buttons using EZ-Tools.• Download programing to the MZC-66 via the Transfer Cable.
