www.serc-china.org INTRODUCTION
Social Enterprise Research Center (SERC) is one of leading and earliest academic organizations in Mainland, China and the only one in Shanghai, that study, promote and serve local social enterprise development. Since 2008, SERC has finished more than 80 local cases studies; spoken many times in public and academic events and invested in a few promising social enterprise projects.

1) Research Focus We partner with various stakeholders to focus on following research topics: Chinese social enterprise case studies, Public perception of social entrepreneurship, the social enterprise industry report, social enterprise finance and funding model and social entrepreneurship tools development. 2) Practice Focus Through our database and findings, on one hand, we long term support and fund some promising social enterprise projects and team, on the other hand, we will develop our own social enterprises projects that meet our community needs.

（2）Ancient Village Reconstruction Investment
SERC has finished a deal of community investment in an ancient village in Hainan Island, in order to assist villagers rebuild charming hometown. The project takes experience from Taiwan to develop featured village housing and culture industry with a bee culture icon. SERC also helped the village win some corporate and government fund
