Kimse Yok Mus disaster team, ASYA, is comprised of 381 specially trained experts who volunteer in the fields of search and rescue, medicine, and trauma counseling. The ASYA team has worked in 11 different disaster zones worldwide. So far, the ASYA team has raised disaster preparedness awareness for more than 100,000 people using its earthquake simulator. These individuals were taught the nessesary procedures for protecting themselves during such an event. In addition, the team takes an active role in disaster response and uses top notch equipment and logistical assests to protect people during natural disasters.

Kimse Yok Mu has extended its services to nearly 200,000 families across Turkey and to an additional 1.5 million families in 110 countries.

Sister familyWe strive to promote unity and solidarity among our world family. Kimse Yok Mu acts as a bridge between sponsors and families in need. We refer to this partnership as sister families as they support each other emotionally and financially in times of great need. If possible, we invite the sister families to meet and talk to one another.

Kimse Yok Mu Kindness CentersKYM Kindess Centers are places that offer impoverished individuals donated clothing. They are able to browse our Kindness Centers as if shopping in a store and choose the articles of their liking.

Social ComplexesThe social life complexes in Kenya, Uganda, Somalia, and Ethiopia aim to meet the needs of the East African region with accessible schools, hospitals, soup kitchens, and dormitories.

Town ConstructionsThe Orhaniye town project in Sudan and the Ikbaliye town project in Pakistan are among Kimse Yok Mus sustainable development projects that improve the livelihood of their residents.

HospitalsKYM has constructed hospitals in Haiti, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Somalia. We furnish all of these medical faciliates as well as provide technical support to hospitals and healthcare centers, according to the needs and desires of the host institution.

Cataract SurgeriesFrom 2008-2013, Kimse Yok Mu carried out 22,500 successful cataract surgeries in the Darfur and Khartoum regions of Sudan, Cameroon, Chad, Niger, DRC, Congo, and Central African Republic.

Volunteer Doctors372 volunteer doctors conducted 67 medical screenings in 8 countries.

SchoolsKimse Yok Mu has built 30 schools in 12 countries

ScholarshipsKYM supports education through scholarships given to students who otherwise could not afford their tuition. In the 2013-2014 academic year, 2,422 Turkish students and 2,331 international students received funding to further their eduction.

Support for OrphansTo increase their quality of life, KYM provided education and health care to 19,800 orphans in 54 countries in 2013.

Vocational Training for Orphans and Vulnerable ChildrenKYM organizes vocational training for children and their mothers so families can become self-sufficient. Training is in a variety of professions including, culinary, sewing, gardening, textiles, and electronics. In addition, we offer language schooling to increase employability.

OrphanagesOne of the biggest problems in developing countries is a lack of shelter for children without parents. KYM establishes warm homes for children in countries who request our help. We built 9 orphanages and rennovated 11 others between 2008-2011.

Water Wells with Hand PumpsWe have dug 1046 water wells with hand pumps in Africa over the past 3 years. The project has given nearly 2 million individuals access to clean water.

Water Storage facilitiesTo provide clean water to more people, Kimse Yok Mu has expanded its services. In 2011, we pioneered the construction of water storage facilities to supplement our existing water wells. Our strage facility in Ikbaliye village has a storage capacity of 90 tons. In 2013, a flood devastated the 296 families who call the village home. Kimse Yok Mu constructed a water storage unit to provide for their basic need of clean water.

Water Refining facilitiesA number of African villages are located in river basins that are prone to floods and pollution from upstream. To provide consistent and easily accessible clean water, Kimse Yok Mu is planning for the construction of water refine-ment facilities that will make use of existing resources in the area which will minimalize the environmental impact and increase the economic feasibility of the project. The refinement facilities will provide villagers with clean water for generations to come.

Greenhouses & Agricultural IrrigationKimse Yok Mu aims to educate villagers on best practices for utilizing the fertile land around them for agriculture. We work with volunteers and villagers who are skilled in the farming professions to implement irrigation sys-tems. In addition, farmers are taught the importance of using greenhouses to maximize agricultural production and diversify crop production. Based on soil quality and resources available, Kimse Yok Mu aims to teach farmers to grow a multitude of fruits, vegetables, and grains in greenhouses. Coupled with a fresh water supply provided by our water refinement facilities, farmers with strengthen their economic prospects and diversify nutrition intake for entire villages.

Water Network SystemKimse Yok Mu aims to serve urban environs as well. Water network systems will connect city systems with the rich water resources of the region. We have implemented three separate city network projects. Kimse Yok Mus keystone water network system is in the Philippines, implemented after the typhoon season of 2013.

Medical Staff EducationKYM trains staff from local communities to work in the hospitals constructed in Kenya, Somalia, Ethopia, and Uganda. KYMs branch-es in Turkey offer a learning platform for doctors wishing to gain more knowledge to ensure their home institutions remain fully operational for years to come.

Vocational TrainingsVocational training courses help women and vulnerable youth acquire skills that will enable them to location jobs and increase their economic well being.

KYM intends to affect significant change in Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Somalia through these complexes. They provide a definitive solution to the education and healthcare deficits that are characteristic of the region. We construct what we call life complexes to address the basic needs of residents within a given province or town. They include a dormitory, soup kitchen, hospital and school, staffed by local doctors and teachers. Those who are unable to pay for these services receive them free of charge.

This project involves training the medical staff and doctors of four hospitals that Kimse Yok Mu opened in Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, and Kenya in their areas of specialization. Eighty percent of the project involves Turkish doctors going to these locations and educating the medical staff there. The remaining twenty percent of the project involves medical staff from these four hospitals traveling to Turkey and Europe to receive further training there.

This is a further expansion of our Clean Water Project in Niger, where we have already drilled a number of water wells. This project is based in a small village 15 km away from Nigers capital of Niamey. The village is home to 120 widowed women and 600 orphans. The state of Niger donated a 35 decares (about 35,000 square meters) of land for the construction of a compound that will contain 120 new houses. Once selected, families who receive these homes will also get a garden and a water storage system to ensure access to drinkable water. Kimse Yok Mu will also enlist volunteers to provide agricultural education in the region and follow up with the construction of greenhouses. Villagers will be invited to enroll in our agriculture training courses. Upon completion they will receive a certificate and their own greenhouse. Produce grown can then be consumed by the family or sold for profit.

To facilitate cross cultural exchange and emphasize sustainability, we will also construct a guest house for Turkish students wishing to complete their social work internships in Niger. There are also plans to renovate the villages school and the most academically apt pupils will receive scholarships, to continue their education.

In partnership with the Kyrgyzstani presidency, Kimse Yok Mu has pio-neered the construction of an educational institution for the countrys orphans costing nearly $3.3 million. The school consists of a swimming pool, ballet theatre and sports center. Kimse Yok Mu is also sponsoring a new dormitory to increase the schools capacity and increase the standard of living for the students.

Kimse Yok Mu will continue to conduct similar projects in other countries. We have also signed a protocol with partners in Erbil to construct a new educational facility for Syrian refugee children. The school has a capacity of 400 students.
