Instructions on how to connect your mobile phone via Bluetooth® using thepairing feature of the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. (All examples shown are using the Comand system)

For a connection between your mobile phone and your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system to besuccessful Bluetooth® must be turned on in your mobile phone. Please make sure to also read theoperating and pairing instructions of the mobile phone.

Please follow the steps below to connect your mobile phone (LG GW370 Neon 2) with the mobile phoneapplication of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system using Bluetooth®.

Step 1 (to be performed on your LG GW370 Neon 2)

From the main screen of your mobile phone,1. Select the option "Menu"2. Select "Settings"3. Select "Connection"4. Select "Bluetooth", to turn Bluetooth® on5. Select "My Visibility", to discover mobile phonePlease note that your mobile phone is now visible to other devices for three minutes. During this time thepairing process must be started on the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system.

Step 2

To get to the telephone screen of your Mercedes-Benzhands-free system press the “TEL” key on the radio or selectphone.

Step 3

Select the "Phone" application located in the lower left corner.

Step 4

Select the "Phone List" application.

Step 5

Select the "Update" function.

Step 6

The system will now search for any Bluetooth® compatiblephones. This may take some time depending on how manydevices are found by the system.

Step 7

Once the system completes searching select your mobilephone (example "My phone") from the list.

Step 8

To connect your mobile phone to your Mercedes-Benzhands-free system enter a unique 1 to 16 digit passcode(password) using the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. Toguarantee a successful Bluetooth® connection it isrecommended that at least a 4 digit passcode (password) isused.

Select "Ok" to confirm.

To complete the connection process follow the steps belowand enter the passcode (password) previously entered in step9 on the keypad of your mobile phone.

Step 9 (to be performed on your LG GW370 Neon 2)

1. "Pairing request from [MB Bluetooth]. Accept?" will be shown.2. Select "Yes."3. "Enter Passcode:" will be shown.4. Please enter your passcode. This passcode must be identical to the passcode you entered in the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system.5. Confirm the passcode by selecting "OK."6. "MB Bluetooth® pairing Complete" will be shown.

Step 10

If the authorization was successful a PopUp appears on yourMercedes-Benz hands-free system.

Step 11

After your mobile phone is successfully connected viaBluetooth® to your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system thename of your mobile (example "My Phone") phone will bedisplayed in the lower left corner above the “Phone” icon.
