Unpacktherollergrillimmediatelyafterreceipt.Ifthemachineisfoundtobedamaged,savethepackagingmaterialandcontactthecarrierwithinfifteen(15)daysofdelivery.ImmediatelycontactGlobeoryourlocaldealeroftheequipment.You
have no recourse of damage after fifteen (15) days.

PROPER GROUNDING
THIS MACHINE IS PROVIDED WITH A THREE-PRONG GROUNDING PLUG. THE
OUTLET TO WHICH THIS PLUG IS CONNECTED MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED.
IF THE RECEPTACLE IS NOT THE PROPER GROUNDING TYPE, CONTACT AN
ELECTRICIAN. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CUT OR REMOVE THE
THIRD GROUND PRONG FROM THE POWER CORD OR USE ANY ADAPTER PLUG
(Fig. 7-1 and Fig. 7-2).

INSTALLATION
1.
Readthismanualthoroughlybeforeinstallationandoperation.DONOTproceedwithinstallationand
operationifyouhaveanyquestionsordonotunderstandanythinginthismanual.Contactyourlocal
representativeorGlobefirst.
2.
Removetherollergrillfromthebox.Onceyourrollergrillhasbeenremovedfromthepackaging,becertainthat
allprotectiveplasticsandresiduesareremovedfromallsurfaces.
3.
Selectalocationfortherollergrillthathasalevel,solid,nonskidsurfacethatisnonflammableandawayfrom
waterhazardsorsinks,andisinawell-lightedworkareaawayfromchildrenandvisitors.
4.
Inspecttherollergrilltoensureallpartshavebeenprovided(i.e.-catchtray).

adequateventilation.
NOTICE:Localcodesregardinginstallationvarygreatlybyarea.TheNationalFireProtectionAssociation,
Inc,statesinitsNFPA96latestedition(seeNFPApageatthebeginningofthismanual)thatlocalcodesare
“authorityhavingjurisdiction”whenitcomestorequirementsforinstallationofequipment.Therefore,
installationshouldcomplywithalllocalcodes.

Foryourprotectionwerecommendthataqualifiedelectricianinstallthisrollergrill.Theyshouldbe
familiarwithelectricalinstallationsandallelectricalcodes.

Properconnectionsandpowersupplyareessentialforefficientperformance.

Theexternalwiringshouldbeinconduitoranapprovedtypeofflexiblecablesuitableforoperationattemperature
indicatedattheconduithole,andinapropersizetocarrytheload.

Thesupplycircuitshouldbeproperlyfusedandequippedwithameansofdisconnecting,asrequiredbythe
localelectricalcode.Forrollergrillwithplugsandleadsset,simplyprovideasuitablepowerpointandconnect.
ThisequipmentgetsEXTREMELYHOTsomakesureallflammable/combustiblematerialsaresetawayfromthisequipment.
LevelingTherollergrillcomesstandardwithrubbernon-slipfeet.Pleaseensureafirm,levelsurfaceisusedwhenplacingthisunit.
AssemblyEnsurethecatchtrayisinstalledbeforeeachuse.Theuseofthistraywillassistinkeepingtherollergrillcleanandhygienicandenableforeasycleaning.
COMMISSIONING:Commissioningofyournewrollergrillisoftheutmostimportance.Commissioningisthethoroughandmethodicaltestingoftheequipment,subsystems,andsystemstoensurethatthefinalproductfunctionsproperlyandsafelyattheworksite.Byidentifyinganypotentialproblems(i.e.:equipmentlocation,ventilation,localfire/electricalcodes,installation,
operator trainingand certification) prior to equipment beingplaced
into service, costly outagesandpotentialdamagesmaybeavoided.

insisttheoperatortakecarewhenincontactwiththispieceofequipment.•
Duringoperationtherollergrillreacheshightemperatures,inturn,heatinganystainlesssteelsurfaces.

Beforeoperatingrollergrill,itshouldbecheckedtoseethatitissittinglevel.Ensuretherollergrillislevel,theunitisclean,andallpartsareinstalledcorrectlyincludingthecatchtray.Pleaseallow8-10minutesforwarmuptime.Cooksproductin3-10minutesdependingonlikeness.
NOTE: Upon first use, roller grill may omit a metal-burning
smell. This is normal and smell will regress with use.
