Petronect was created on October 18th of 2002 by the initiative of Petrobras to provide electronic commerce services related to the procurement of goods and services.

Through the electronic portal, transactions are carried out ranging from requests for quotations

and proposals submissions to contracts and orders management.

Petronect has developed the “Gesture of Love" Project, in

which Philanthropic Institutions receive monthly food and

hygiene and cleaning items.

The institutions benefited by the project, from August 2016

to July 2017, are: Fundação Assistencial Santa Bárbara e Associação Centro De Estudos Alternativo Comunitário.

Petronect values the well-being of its employees, aiming to

make the work environment a benchmark in the sector.

Actions such as deploying a library in the office and

building a decompression room where employees can rest

and gather are examples of these guidelines.

The Petrobras, by using Petronect, reduces the impact of CO2 in the atmosphere:

Paper Rationing: The Petrobras Group uses the Portal since 2003

as a tool to transact the following purchasing activities: electronic

quotation, electronic auction and electronic (order/request).

Based on the data of the analyzed period, the Petrobras Group

transacted in the Portal 1,360,846 electronic processes and

3,105,395 requests. The company spared, on average, the

utilization of 1,070 tons of paper.

Traveling Rationing: Based on the data from the period, 548 online trainings were conducted and no trips related to the purchasing processes transacted in the Portal were required. Thus,

the company spared the emission of 1,024 tons of CO2.
