1. Become a Program Sponsor - Sponsorship levels include Partner, Leader, and Advocate.
2. Set up a Company Profi le - You can set up and maintain a company profi le to describe your business, highlight your unique attributes, and communicate your areas of need to future employees.
3. Become a Career Coach - By spending less than an hour per week, you can share your experience and advice with students by contributing to mediated, threaded discussions online.
4. Offer Work-Integrated Learning Activities - You can post and coordinate work-integrated learning activities like job shadowing, company tours, internships, and entry-level employment opportunities that your business offers directly with students and educators.

Studies show that students who take part in high school work experiences, such as internships, job shadowing, and mentoring are more likely to be inspired to stay in school, graduate and adopt ambitious goals. For many, taking part in work integrated learning can be the link to a lifetime of success.

Quick Start Guide: Manage My AccountAccessing My AccountGo to www.ThurstonChamber.com/Business-2-Youth-Connect to log into your account. Keeping an updated profi le is important, since this is how students and teachers will learn about your company when exploring careers.
Managing My InformationOnce logged into your account, and depending on what you have signed up for*, you can manage your information by doing any one of the following:
1. Update My Profi leEdit/update your personal information, career information, and your career history. This gives students and teachers an understanding of your background and experiences throughout your career.2. Message BoardsAn easy way to get involved is by discussing the careers with which you have associated yourself. Create a dialog with students about your real-world experiences!3 Update Company Profi leChange your company information such as company description, locations, careers that can be associated with your company and description of your hiring practices. Note: adding careers and industries associated with your company will give your company more visibility as students and teachers explore Business2Youth Connect.4 Work-based Learning ActivitiesParticipate in work-based learning activities available in your area. These in-person programs help you connect with your future workforce.5 Communication ToolsConnects you with students and educators though Business2Youth Connect’s messaging system and company discussion board.
