• Forecast– TT10 : civil engineering– Drain of the SPS primary water ring from next

week -> exchange of isolating valves

• Sector readiness:– Released: 45, 56, 67, 78, 81, 12, 23– To be released: 34 waiting for QRL leak test– S12 short circuits – investigation completed

• Diode – solved• Lyra – repair to be done

• Leak test of cryomagnets lines– 20 internal helium leaks identified

in arc subsectors after warm-up14 identified to component. for 6 leaks not identified to component, further tests to be performed in ɸ2.

– Triplet 5L – helium leak in FF (inside DFBX) stable since 2009 – propose ‘use-as-is’.

• RF ball tests

• *ball initially stopped, dummy PIMS in place , 2nd ball test successful• **ball stopped, no collapses PIM, 2nd test successful

• QRL internal leak test status– S56 - Leak tests in progress (in parallel with SMACC)– S34 - Leak localization tests on-going,– S67 - Coordinated with SMACC – scheduled next week– S78 - Line C leak confirmed – deformed compensator (H) confirmed,– S81 - Line C leak confirmed, deformed compensator at C29R8 – QRL opening

from end of next week– S45 - Opening and observation on going.

• CV maintenance at points 18, 2 6 and 8– In order to lower down temperature in REs ( 48kV systems are suffering from hot

temperature), it has been proposed to replace the door by grid door

• New cooling towers installation at Point 8 (pt 6 completed)
