• Auxiliar did para todas as pessoas
I/YOUHE/SHE/IT ⇒ DIDYOU/WE/THEY
Ex.: 1a 2a 3a
1. Work – Worked – Worked ⇒ verbo regular.Pres. Past Past Part.
1a 2a 3a
2. Drink – Drank – Drunk ⇒ verbo irregular.Pres. Past Past Part.
• A forma verbal do simple past é a mesma para todasas pessoas, isto é,não há mudança no verbo quando as pessoas forem he/she/it.Ex. I drank water yesterday.
(Eu bebi/tomei água ontem.) He drank water yesterday.(Ele bebeu água ontem.)
Ex.: work – worked.
play (tocar, jogar, brincar) ⇒ played

• Auxiliar did para todas as pessoas
I/YOUHE/SHE/IT ⇒ DIDYOU/WE/THEY
Ex.: 1a 2a 3a
1. Work – Worked – Worked ⇒ verbo regular.Pres. Past Past Part.
1a 2a 3a
2. Drink – Drank – Drunk ⇒ verbo irregular.Pres. Past Past Part.
• A forma verbal do simple past é a mesma para todasas pessoas, isto é,não há mudança no verbo quando as pessoas forem he/she/it.Ex. I drank water yesterday.
(Eu bebi/tomei água ontem.) He drank water yesterday.(Ele bebeu água ontem.)
Ex.: work – worked.
play (tocar, jogar, brincar) ⇒ played

Nota: * O verbo haver no inglês possui duas formas no presente: singular (there is) e plural (there are). Esses verbos
exercem a função de auxiliar e possuem características particulares.
Don’t forget it!
• Usamos o auxiliar will para todas as pessoas e shallsomente para I/we.
I/YOUHE/SHE/IT ⇒ WILLYOU/WE THEY
I/WE ⇒ SHALL
Ex: He will work. (Ele trabalhará.) I/we shall work. (Eu/nós trabalharei/emos.)
• Após os auxiliares will e shall nunca usamos a partí-cula to.
• As expressões de tempo mais frequentes usadascom o futuro são: tomorrow (amanhã), next week(próxima semana), next month (próximo mês), next year (próximo ano), the day after tomorrow (depoisde amanhã).
• Há também duas outras formas de futuro: I. verb to be + going to
Ex: I am going to travel tonight. (Eu vou viajar/viajarei esta noite.)
II. verb to be + verb + ingEx: I am traveling tonight.
