During the period 20th - 24th September, Adriatic Fair will host three trade fairs:39th Civil Engineering Fair,12th Water, Water Supply Systems and Sanitary Technologies Fair and5th Energy Fair.
118 direct and indirect exhibitors from 10 countries (Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia. Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Italy and Albania) will show their products at specialised trade fair platforms during the above events.
It is important to note that 61% of the exhibitors will participate for the first time.

platforms at Budva-based Adriatic Fair, where new companies and products are being constantly presented, which gives a strong impetus to the development and internationalisation of businesses in Montenegro.
Consequently, the 39th Civil Engineering Fair will see the presentation of large companies for design, engineering and construction from across the region. The strengthening of competition on the stone product market is intended to confirm the presence of Macedonian stone factories in the Montenegrin market. Moreover, the Fair will again see the participation of
representatives of reputable international manufacturers of construction machinery and mechanisation. In addition, the Chamber of Engineers of Montenegro will assume an important role during the programme, by participating in panel discussions where it will
address the important issues in civil engineering.
The 5th Energy Fair confirms its huge business potential on an annual level, through the traditional participation of Montenegrin companies and their principals – technology leaders in the energy market. The quality of programmes presented at the Fair is also confirmed by participation of companies from the Czech Republic, which has been organising a joint appearance of Czech businesses for a considerable number of years, and this year we will see the participation of 6 Czech companies. Czech Trade, the Government Agency for The Promotion of Export and Trade at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, traditionally supports the appearance of its
businesses at the Budva-based Fair. It is important to note that the Italian company Sarel will participate in the programme,
delivering a presentation on products for power distribution.60% of new exhibitors will present their products at this year’s 12th
Water, Water Supply Systems and Sanitary Technologies Fair, one of the leading events of this type in the region. The new exhibitors will present the most important areas of their business, such as polyester product manufacturing, as well as well drilling services, trading in and the installation of submersible pumps, swimming pool construction, irrigation systems and wastewater management, amongst others. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. on 20th September.
The Expo Trophy Award will traditionally be given to the most successful presentation at the Adriatic Fair.

TURKISH ECONOMY PRESENTED FROM 20TH TO 24TH SEPTEMBER AT ADRIATIC FAIR
Preparatory activities for the implementation of the 39th Civil Engineering Fair, the 12th Water, Water Supply Systems and Sanitary Technologies Fair and the 5th Energy Fair will delight all those prepared for healthy competition, who are not concerned by new entrants to the regional market.
In addition to the traditional presence of companies from the region, through which reputable international brands are presented, this year’s Fair will host an increased number of international exhibitors who will be directly presenting their businesses. This year, Turkish businesses have shown considerable interest in promoting their products and
services through Adriatic Fair. In addition to several Turkish companies that will appear at the Fair, we are delighted that a large number of various types of business associations (chambers, associations and alliances, for example) have shown substantial interest in joint appearances at the Fair. This further confirms and shows the potential of the Fair
as a platform for the promotion on the growing regional market. Progress in the Montenegrin European Union accession process will result in an on-going increase in investment, which has already been recognised in business and consequently Turkey, as a global economic player, has indisputably decided to become involved in the investment race.
Construction machinery will yet again be presented at the 39th Civil Engineering Fair, following several years of absence. A large number of companies both from Montenegro and the region will present a wide
range of construction machinery manufactured by their principals. Hence, we will be given the opportunity to see machinery and tools manufactured by reputable companies, such as JCB, Magni, Rubble Master, Sennebogen and
Wacker Neuson, amongst others. Visitors will also gain insight into a selected product range provided by these companies intended initially for the Montenegrin market and those across the region. Both companies and individuals involved in civil engineering will be delighted with special discount prices of machinery offered throughout the duration of the Fair. This refers primarily to construction and mining machinery, as well as to machinery for water management, industry, forestry, specialised machinery and different types of connectors and tools. ..

Our company is large and employs over 450 staff. We are working towards fully standardising the decision-making process, primarily concerning business projects and activities. What are the practices in decision-making on trade fair appearances? It is extremely difficult to use
pre-determined decision-making techniques, irrespective of the fact that business literature provides a large number of practical tips and models. Nevertheless, they primarily refer to appearances and exhibiting at trade fairs and do not normally address the decision-making process. It is important to highlight that an appearance on any international market, where participation on trade fairs actually is, suggests facing a different competitive ambiance. Consequently, the decision-making process needs to provide several creative procedures and ideas
and, invariably, include significant changes compared with previous plans linked to trade fair exhibitions.
You have thus far frequently stressed the requirement to appoint a person responsible for trade fair appearance, acting as project manager in this case. Should decisions be made individually or by the team?
The manager in charge of trade fairs certainly needs to be held responsible. Nevertheless, decisions made during the preparation and project development certainly need to be made by the team. There are
two main reasons why: a) to achieve the required balance and perhaps, even more importantly b) to provide a deeper insight into available resources, as well as their more effective use.
Would relying on the marketing mix concept (the 4P’s) be of any help in this process? It certainly would, primarily
concerning the aspect linked with the promotion and communication objectives of a trade fair appearance. Nevertheless, against the backdrop of modern trends, I would advise you to expand the concept to at least 8P’s - politics, personnel, procedures (procedures on work at the exhibition stand, as well as gaining insight into the standards adopted by the company), as well as physical evidence (which certainly is the focus of the designer of a good exhibition stand).
