Infinova has a global footprint for our business2

And we have a global solution, not only in a geographical sense, but in a technical sense as well. Infinova solutions and technology brings together the worlds of IP, Analog and fiber optic technologies into a systems solution for security where technologies from Infinova and other brand-leader manufacturers operate side by side. This is what Infinova calls out best-in-class solution.3Best-in-Class Solution

Infinovas Best-in-Class SolutionInfinovas Best-in-Class solution offers a range of technology and products to meet the security needs of government, industry, retail, and service companies across the globe. Our industry experience and manufacturing expertise in IP , analog and fiber optics technology makes us a flexible partner for both integrators and end users. Because we are a manufacturer we have full control over the design and specifications of our products. This gives us the flexibility to meet our integrators project needs including specialized requirements where customized products are needed. The foundation of our solutions and technology is coexistence , different technologies working together side-by-side. This saves end-users money and extends the life of their existing equipment.

Coexistence is targeted at a typical traditional security control room like this where the company has a large investment in analog control room equipment.Because of the recent recession, companies are not is a position to write-off their control room equipment before it has been fully depreciated. They are looking for ways to extend the life of their existing equipment not scrap it.5Why Coexistence?Comments from SDM Magazines State of The MarketAn undeniable consequence of the recession is customers that are cost conscious and interested in extending the life of existing equipment Mark S. Wilson, vice president, Marketing, InfinovaAs in any economy, end users are tracking every dollar. For the most part end users are still very careful with money, and are focused on finding ways to do things more efficiently to fit their budgets. Should You Jump to IP?CoexistenceShould your clients jump to IP?Yes, but in a cost-managed way that extendsthe life of your existing equipment. Howquickly and how far depends on projectspecifics. Migration will take place gradually forthe security industry, coexistence makes the benefitsof IP technology available now, without having to write-off existing analog capital equipment before it is fully depreciated.

Before making any decisions it is important tobrainstorm and spend time exploring basic front-enddetails. Determine what surveillance needs to do Prioritize the risks and vulnerabilities of your site Select a migration strategy and technology to fitthose real-life needs

Security is not only a technical challenge, but anoperational and business challenge as well. Themost cost-effective migration strategy is coexistence, where analog and IP exist side by side. By preparing, assessing and balancing out your needs and budget, making a jump to IP will be easy and affordable.

In a cost-managed wayExtends the life of your existing equipment

A bridge between analog and IP technologyCross at your own paceMeets your business needsWithin your budgetShould you jump to IP? The simple answer is YES, but in a cost-managed way that extends the life of existing equipment. You and your colleagues know youll migrate to IP but the challenge is in how to do it. Of course, the jump how quickly, how far all depends on your specifics. For most sites, this migration will take place gradually; and, during the process, analog and IP solutions will coexist, in some cases for many years to come.

How Do You Extend the life of your existing equipment? With In novas V2216 Software, Analog and IP Coexist as Part of the Same Solution

Over the years your organization has made asubstantial investment in analog technology. On the one hand, it makes sense to extractthe most value out of that investment. But you knowthat IP technology offers distinct advantages inMany situations.Infinova understands this dilemma perfectly. Infact, it lies at the core of our coexistence strategy. We want you to keep what works and webelieve that you can manage the transition to IP in away that wont take a huge bite out of your budget.

With the V2216 Software, the heart of ourcoexistence solution, youre actually running twoTechnologies side by side.

9Coexistence The Bridge Between Analog and IP

Walk through the diagram to explain how coexistence worksInstead of managing the analog cameras via encodersIn coexistence the NVR manages the analog control room hardware, matrix switchers, DVRs and video wall.End with the question How do you build a coexistent solution 10

IP Product FamilyInfinovas megapixel and IP cameras feature a larger format sensor (1/2.5) that gives excellent low-light performance at megapixel resolution. With a frame rate of 25 FPS at megapixel and full HD resolution they can handle demanding surveillance jobs that require high frame rates such dealer tables in casinos and teller stations in banks. All cameras and video servers are equipped with SD storage card on the device. Where 24/7 recording is essential, the SD cards provide failover recording should there be a network error. The SD card also enables remote recording, for example in transport applications such as busses, trains and subways. To make the cameras easy to work with and install all cameras have both IP and analog output. This makes the cameras very easy to install and fast to focus and adjust the field of view by simply attaching a test monitor. For very sensitive applications, using the analog and IP outputs together, cameras can record simultaneously to both a network video recorder (NVR) and a digital video recorder (DVR) to provide an additional level of local backup.Camera FormatsIP PTZ Dome CamerasIP Fixed CameraIntegrated PTZ Camera SystemsFixed Minidome CameraCamera ResolutionStandard definitionHDMegapixel, 1.3 MP, 2.0 MP, 5.0 MPCamera FunctionalityColorDay/NightWDRSD Storage

The world s largest BMW dealer in the Los Angeles, California, USA, makes use of an extensive,state-of-the-art IP based video surveillance system that includes 40 Infinova IP PTZ dome camerasand IP Video Management software for live viewing and network video recording. Infinova workedclosely with the BMW dealers IT (Information Technology) Manager to insure that the network anddata storage equipment could handle the surveillance system requirements. The system is highlyautomated and includes high resolution, high frame rate recording of all cameras at all times.Several acres of automobiles and numerous buildings that house showrooms and service facilitiesare monitored by the system. Because it is an IP-based system, it can be easily accessed fromanywhere.15Analog Product Family

Analog Product FamilyInfinova analog cameras feature high resolution CCD sensors combined with advanced digital signal processing (DSP) to give you an excellent signal to noise (S/N) ratio of more than 54 dB. The high S/N ratio gives enhanced color, better image clarity and detail giving you excellent evidence that captures the smallest details even in low light conditions. Using an Optical or Digital day/night switch function the cameras can automatically switch from color mode to black and white (B/W) mode in very low light environments. This gives you a highly effective security solution for 24/7 surveillance.

The wide dynamic range (WDR) cameras feature PIXIM DPS (Digital Pixel System) that has an even wider 120 dB dynamic range that gives you excellent sensitivity to changes in lighting. This gives WDR cameras a higher S/N Ratio, improved color rendering and better image quality providing excellent surveillance video under extremely difficult illumination conditions. For extreme lighting conditions some models feature digital slow shutter (DSS) that allows a long exposure time of 1/2 second, providing a higher sensitivity in minimum illumination conditions down to 0.03 lux. Infinova analog dome cameras feature continuous 360 rotation, with super sensitivity, auto focus, auto iris, and backlight compensation. Variable Pan speed capabilities range from a smooth, fast pan motion of 240 (200 for 36X) per second to a low speed of 0.5 per second. The auto flip feature allows the camera to rotate 180 and reposition itself for uninterrupted viewing of any subject that passes directly beneath the PTZ dome.Domes are available as 18X12, 26X12 and 36X12 optical/ digital zoom. Separate definable privacy zones can be set by administrators to prevent operators from viewing restricted areas. Direction indicators displayed on the monitor indicate the direction in which the dome camera is moving and pointing. Infinova Domes feature built-in memory to store camera and dome settings, including labels, presets, patterns, and zones. These settings are automatically downloaded if a new dome drive is installed.
