INTRODUCTION/PROCLAMATION

1 ERRORS AND OMISSIONS EXCEPTED. This result C.D. is issued as a notice only.

Any entry appearing therein does not in itself confer any right or privilege to a candidate

for the grant of a Certificate. However, the Board reserves the right of rectifying errors and

omissions in the result at any time.

2 The Secondary School, Certificate (Annual) Examination, 2016 commenced on March 1s t

2016. The Practical Examination continued up to 22-04-2016. The result is being

declared on 20-07-2016.

3 60719 Candidates applied for this Examination out of which 60186 candidates actually

appeared whom result is being declared through this C.D.

4 a) The result is being declared on Fail/Pass basis. The candidates who passed the

examination have been shown by mentioning the total number of Marks obtained by them

against their Roll Numbers/Names.

b) The candidates against whose Roll Nos. / Names certain subjects have been indicated are

allowed to re‐appear in those failing subject/s till the opportunity written on their result

cards.

c) The candidates who have been declared “Fail as a whole” may repeat their Examination in

full subjects in the SSC (S) Examination, 2016 or any subsequent Annual Examination under

Scheme of Studies enforced if otherwise eligible.

5 No fresh candidate is eligible to appear in the Secondary School Certificates

(Supplementary) Examination, 2016 for the first time except those as otherwise permitted

under the rules.

6 All enquiries regarding the result of candidates from recognized Institutions should be

addressed through the Head of Institution concerned.

7 The result intimation (Detailed Marks Card) will be sent to the candidates, in case of

Regular Students through their heads of the Institutions under Registered Parcel and to the

individual private candidates at the addresses given for the purpose under registered cover.

8 In case of non receipt of Result Card up to, 01-08-2016 the candidates may contact

the Board's office or Assistant Controller Examinations (Matric), on

Phone No. 040‐9200521.

NATIONAL TALENT SCHOLARSHIPS

On the basis of Result of the Secondary School Certificate (Annual) Examination, 2016, one National Talent Scholarship shall be awarded for

every one thousand candidates who pass the examination. 500 or more candidates being counted as a thousand and less than 500 ignored for

the purpose of determination of the number of Scholarship. All the candidates will be taken together as one group, provided that the girls

candidates will get at least the number of Scholarships proportionate to the number of girls passing the examination according to the above

formula. Thus on the basis of this result 45 (23 Boys, 22 Girls) talent scholarships would be awarded to the candidates securing the

highest. The value of each Scholarship is Rs. 500/- P.M. in case of resident Scholar and Rs. 300/-P.M. in case of non resident Scholar. Besides

they would be paid Rs. 1000/- for purchase of books and other educational equipments etc. as permissible under rules.

Nos./Names certain subjects have been indicated are allowed to re‐appear in those

failing subject/s till the chance indicated in the Result Gazette/Result Cards.

ii)

The candidates who remained “Fail as a Whole” may appear in full subjects in SSC (Supply) Examination, 2016 or any subsequent Annual Examination under the syllabi/

Scheme of Studies enforced if otherwise eligible.

iii)

The candidates qualifying in all the subjects would be entitled to the grant of a

certificate. The result cards/statement/certificates will not be issued to the defaulters

till the clearance of their objections.
