Abstract : — Water is the most important Nature’s gift to the mankind .water scarcity is now a big issue which need to be solved. The paper describes the web based service to monitor water flow level in various applications using the level sensor with the microcontroller and an effort is made to design a circuit using water level indicators which can control the storage level of water in a tank to provide water throughout the day without any wastage. The design involves the use of port forwarding facility of broadband modem or router by using which one can port forward a local IP address to a public IP address that helps in controlling appliances from any part of the
I.INTRODUCTION:
Generally switch ON the pump when the tank becomes empty and switch OFF the pump when the overhead tank starts overflowing. This results in the unnecessary wastage and sometimes non availability of water in case of emergency. Here a circuit is designed which can make this system automatic, i.e. it switches ON the pump when the water level in the tank goes low and switches it OFF as soon as the water level reaches a pre-determined level.Above is the flowchart which depicts the system(fig 1).

The sensor checks if the tank is empty or not andswitches on the pump if its empty. The sensor checks the level of water nd displays accordingly to it. The pump is switched off after the predetermined level. It employs a mechanism to detect and maintain the water
level in a tank or any other container by switching it ON/OFF the motor automatically when needed. The level sensing is done by sensors which are placed at different levels on the tank wall. Hence this controller is one of the cheapest & fastest way of controlling water level.A web service is a network accessible interface to application functionality ,

built using standard internet technologies. The web page is shown in fig2. It shows the graphical image of tank. Its powerful new way to built software systems from distributed components. Depending upon water level in the tank, a graphical image of the water tank is displayed on the main Web page. Here, the uniqueness is that the information is displayed as an image instead of data on the Web page. The water-level data is updated and displayed as a visual which is refreshed using AJAX in the HTML code.
II.WATER LEVEL CONTROLLER:
Water level controller circuit which controls the pump automatically through web. Automatic water level controller switches ON the motor when the water level in the overhead tank drops below a pre fixed level (ON point) and switches OFF the motor when the water level rises to another pre fixed level (OFF point). There are four sensors attached to the tank
which sense the water level and shows the graphical image and status of the water tank on the web page. Circuit diagram:

This design is very useful if incorporated in municipal corporation or government organizations which supply water as they can continuously monitor the water level sitting at any place away from the actual place of water supplying through web page. Through this design multiple tanks can be controlled. Fig4 shows the expected control of tanks.

III.Conclusion:
Water is one of the most important basic needs for all living beings. But unfortunately a huge amount of water is being wasted by uncontrolled use. Some other automated water level monitoring system is also offered so far but most of the method has some shortness in practice. We tried to overcome these problems
and implemented an efficient automated water level monitoring and controlling system. Main intension of this research work is to establish a
flexible, economical and easy configurable system which can solve water losing problems. This design can help monitor water level from any part of he world which is the most unique feature.
