For me:

 In every relationship it is really important that both of you love each other.

Both of you knows how to respect one another.

Both of you know how to give.

Support each other even if you know he's much of an achiever tahn you.

Be happy of his/her accomplishment.

It's his/her life. She/he oath to live it the way he/she wanted it to be.

He/she have to excel on his/her own. Your partner has their own ability to share to everyone.

Your partner is his own being; you don't need to control it!

Or to emotionally torture him/her by making them feel worthless.

 

If your partner got mad in just small mistake you made, he doesn't love you.

If your partner physically hurt you, he doesn't love you.

If your partner emotionally hurt you, he doesn't love you.

He only need a stress reliever, sad, but true.

 

What to do?

Depends to you!

I am just a friend.. I'll give you advice.

Brutal advice but if you could just read/hear between the lines every word I'm telling you.

All I want you to understand is this.

 

My friend, you are your own being. You will prove to the word that you can do impossible thing. That with or without his support, you will succeed. All you have to do is believe on yourself. And we believe on you.  So what if he can't support you, you know your own skill. And i know you know all of this. All of this is just a reminder. Don't, please; don't let him pull you down. Because, I know you can do better and greater thing. Just don't let him pull you down.
