    1 - plaque is not identified;

    2staining of one quarter of the surface of a toothcrown;

    To assess the severity of gingivitis is used papillary-marginal-

    alveolar index (PMA).

    The assessment of gums inflammation is carried out visually or

    staining by Schiller-Pisarevssolution.

    CODES OF ASSESSMENT:

    0inflammation isnt detected;

    1 - inflammation of gingival papilla (P);

    2 - inflammation of the marginal part of gums (M);

    3 - inflammation of the alveolar part of the gums (A).
