Vehicle Trips - Trip rates were increased to 8.76 (Weekday), 8.76 (Saturday), and 6.45 (Sunday) to closely match the trip rates derived from vehicle counts at the existing UC Davis Hyatt Place Hotel. Trip rates at the existing hotel were counted in 2011. Trip count information is descried in Section 3.0 of the Traffic Impact Analysis for the proposed project. For reference, the CalEEMod default values were approximately 0.5 trips per day less than the existing hotel trip rates.

Construction Phase - The CalEEMod default construction periods with 2011 dates were used for project modelling to represent overall emissions. The small size and simple sequencing of this project are appropriate for using proxy dates rather than developing specific project periods and construction dates. The expected construction period for the hotel expansion closely match the CalEEMod default values.

Project Characteristics - The Hyatt Place Hotel Expansion was modelled using the CalEEMod settings for Yolo County.

Land Use - Building square footage set to 30,000 square feet to match the proposed adddition to the Hyatt Place Hotel.

Vehicle Trips - Trip rates were increased to 8.76 (Weekday), 8.76 (Saturday), and 6.45 (Sunday) to closely match the trip rates derived from vehicle counts at the existing UC Davis Hyatt Place Hotel. Trip rates at the existing hotel were counted in 2011. Trip count information is descried in Section 3.0 of the Traffic Impact Analysis for the proposed project. For reference, the CalEEMod default values were approximately 0.5 trips per day less than the existing hotel trip rates.

Construction Phase - The CalEEMod default construction periods with 2011 dates were used for project modelling to represent overall emissions. The small size and simple sequencing of this project are appropriate for using proxy dates rather than developing specific project periods and construction dates. The expected construction period for the hotel expansion closely match the CalEEMod default values.

Project Characteristics - The Hyatt Place Hotel Expansion was modelled using the CalEEMod settings for Yolo County.

Land Use - Building square footage set to 30,000 square feet to match the proposed adddition to the Hyatt Place Hotel.
