We are living during the time of the Ascension in which humanity is being awakened to higher levels

experiential event with Gaia Mystic Mare Cromwell, we will explore ways 

that we can be more proactive in our midwife role to support Earth 

Mother in this birthing process.  We are ALL being called to play an active 

role in birthing this New World.  Connecting spiritually with Mother Gaia 

along with the Christ Consciousness is a significant step during these times 

of Great Change.  By tapping into Mother Gaia and her glorious healing

Chief Rainbow Dedication  The Story Behind Chief Rainbow Weekend 

Rainbow Weekend is named for Chief Rainbow, the Spirit Guide of the first Vice President of 

Arlington Metaphysical Chapel, Rev. John Bordeaux.  As a small child, Rev. Bordeaux had an “imaginary” playmate whom he called “Mr. Rainbow.” Upon developing his intuitive awareness, Rev. Bordeaux learned that this playmate was 

in reality Chief Rainbow, his primary Native American Guide. Rev. Bordeaux majored in the Russian language at Georgetown and George Washington Universities and was a well‐known translator in Europe and the United States.  Together with Rev. F. Reed Brown, he worked to establish Arlington Metaphysical Chapel.  Rev. Bordeaux passed into Spirit on April 11, 1982.  Since Rev. Bordeaux had a major interest in education, the Board of Trustees of AMC established this special yearly celebration of spiritual education in his memory.

Reverend Barbara Lynn Chambers is a Shamanic practitioner as well as an Energy and Sound

In many ancient societies, the natural world was studied in order to understand the supernatural and in these societies, Gods and Goddesses were often depicted as animals.  In 

fact, ALL of nature is ready to teach us if we are only ready to listen.  One of the most common forms spirit guides take are in the form of animals.  Animals can teach us many things about how to live our own lives in more harmony, and in accord with nature.  In this class, you will learn about totem animals and spirit animal guardians.  You will learn the importance of paying attention whenever you encounter an animal out in nature, whatever it may be.  You will learn how that encounter may be guiding you at this time in your life ‐‐ what that animal symbolizes can offer tremendous insight into your life.  Join Rev.  Funk and learn how to identify, understand and “listen” to our animal friends. POWER TOTEM MEDITATION CIRCLE with Rev. Scott Morgan – 3:15 pm to 4:15 pm ‐ $30 ‐ Chapel Sanctuary ‐ Join Rev. Scott to find the power animal that is helping you on the current phase of your journey.  Participants will be guided through a meditation to be open and aware of archetypal animal influences beyond the life‐long totems of which they may be familiar. This workshop helps you find the power animal that is helping you on the current phase of your journey. The second part of the workshop involves a writing exercise to identify concrete action steps designed to bring your power animal to life to better serve and guide you.   

Rev. Scott Morgan is an ordained minister and a faculty member at the UMC seminary. He teaches spiritual storytelling and runs his own communication consultancy in Washington DC, with clients that include the National 

Institutes of Health and several universities. He has 30 years of broadcast experience and teaches media and communication strategy to many think tanks and research organizations around the globe.  He graduated with honors from the University of California Davis, and authored the book Speaking about Science. He also holds a Masters degree in psychology at Columbia University and launched a game‐like mindfulness app called 3rdi in 2014.
