When her grandparents recently visited her home, StutiVishwabhan, a sophomore from Presentation High School here, became suddenly aware that there is a generation of people whoare struggling to keep pace with all the latest strides being made intelecommunication technology.
Her grandparents had found it difficult to keep in touch with thefriends and family they left behind in India because they were nottech savvy with Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, Skype, Facetime,Twitter, Tumblr, or even text for that matter.
Realizing this, Vishwabhan decided to teach her grandparents howto use a laptop. Every day, during the summer after her eighthgrade, she started spending time with them, showing them coolfeatures. Within a few weeks, they came up to speed, and theywere able to enjoy the same TV shows they left behind in India, shetold India-West in a press note.
Vishwabhan’s grandmother even opened a Facebook account, andbecame active connecting with family and friends via socialnetworking.
In order to give that same experience to other seniors, Vishwabhan
