Home school learning pack for week beginning 11/05/20 Dear Parents/Carers, We are pleased to provide you with a home learning pack for this week. Again, many thanks you for all that you are doing to support your children at home. We hope that you enjoyed some of the VE day activities that we included last week. This week, we have again included 2 online learning sessions to support you and your children. We have kept these as optional sessions as we understand that these will be harder to access for some families than others. We hope that you managed to complete the internet safety session that we planned for last week. We have added resources to our website to promote and support this area and hope that you will find these useful. Click on the further information button on the home page to find activities and support for both parents and children. Thank you to Yellow and Orange class for sending in photos of what you have been up to. These are in the class folders and well worth a look if you get chance – a lovely way for us all to feel connected! We hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we enjoyed putting them together! Years 3-6 have been invited to do the same and we will let you know when their photos are on the website. Thank you again for your support, The staff at Draycott Primary Dear Green class, I trust that you are all well and that you were able to celebrate in some way the 75 th anniversary of VE Day. My Dad was telling me last week how he remembered having a big street party with about 30 other children who all lived in his road. My mum had been evacuated to Australia and although they held, a small celebration there was still fighting with Japan that didn’t end till August. It is great to see so many of you are still using Mathletics and TT Rock stars stick with it. Remember to keep reading. Stay happy, healthy and positive; don’t forget to help your parents out around the house even if it is just clearing your room. Enjoy tackling this week’s activities and I look forward to seeing your cheerful faces soon. Mr Kane

This week, we have again included 2 online learning sessions to support you and your

harder to access for some families than others. We hope that you managed to complete

the internet safety session that we planned for last week. We have added resources to

our website to promote and support this area and hope that you will find these useful.

Click on the further information button on the home page to find activities and support

for both parents and children.

Thank you to Yellow and Orange class for sending in photos of what you have been up to.

These are in the class folders and well worth a look if you get chance – a lovely way for us

all to feel connected! We hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we enjoyed putting them

together! Years 3-6 have been invited to do the same and we will let you know when their

photos are on the website.

Thank you again for your support,

The staff at Draycott Primary

Dear Green class,

I trust that you are all well and that you were able to celebrate in some way the 75th

anniversary of VE Day. My Dad was telling me last week how he remembered having a big

street party with about 30 other children who all lived in his road. My mum had been

evacuated to Australia and although they held, a small celebration there was still fighting

with Japan that didn’t end till August.

It is great to see so many of you are still using Mathletics and TT Rock stars stick with it.

Remember to keep reading.

Stay happy, healthy and positive; don’t forget to help your parents out around the house

even if it is just clearing your room. Enjoy tackling this week’s activities and I look forward

to seeing your cheerful faces soon.
