Dear Parents, I can’t believe May is here. We have learning so much this year. This month our theme is OCEAN ANIMALS. Our Character Value is RESPECT. The children will learn about respecting their friends. Learning about plants and gardening can help preschool students develop empathy for the environment. Gardening is a fun, healthy activity. We will learn about different plants and what effort goes into planting a garden.
Sincerely,
Ms. Angela & Ms. Celeste

Hello Parents, We are very excited about May! We have lots of fun activities planned as we teach the students about PLANTS, FLOWERS and UNDER THE SEA ANIMALS. This month’s character value is RESPECT . Even though the weather is warming up, we ask that you still send your child to school in closed toe shoes – for safety reasons. If we could also make sure that your child always has a change of clothes not only for bathroom accidents, but for food, art and water incidents as well. Progress report time is quickly approaching! Throughout the last few months we have been working on each goal outlined on the progress report. I have seen in each child and am very happy to see them learn and grow. We welcome Ms. Stacy to the room! Thank you, Ms. Meaghan, Ms. Yahira and Ms. Stacy

ROOM 7 MS. TERI, LEAD TEACHER Greetings Room 7 Families!
In April we had our Fiesta Shoe Box Parade, recognized child
abuse awareness month, and celebrated Earth Day.
For Earth Day we planted seeds and are monitoring the
plants as they grow. This fits in nicely with May’s learning
theme of PLANTS AND FLOWERS. Our Character Value for the
month is RESPECT. The letters we will be introducing are: B,
D, E and H. We are also learning about OCEAN ANIMALS in
our science and nature unit.
During Circle Time activities we continue to learn to write
and identify our numbers 1 through 10 and continue to
practice writing our names and practice precision scissor
cutting skills and writing our names.
Please notice that Daily Communication sheets are now in
your Child’s folder at the end of the day. PLEASE CHECK
YOUR CHILD”S FOLDER EVERY DAY.
We ask that on Fridays you take home nap time blankets
and pillows for washing. With the Texas sun and heat soon
approaching, we also ask you to bring in sunscreen and
complete the authorization form at the front office
If you have any questions or concerns, please visit with me.
It is my goal to make learning a fun experience for your
child.
