PROGRESS TO DATE

We have now completed road surfacing

works on the Chipmans Platt phase of

the scheme and all traffic management

has been removed from the area. We

will be completing the surfacing of the

footpaths over the next few weeks.

Utility diversions for Energetics and

Severn Trent Water are currently being

undertaken at Oldends Lane and are

due for completion in December. Final

surfacing works will be undertaken in

January 2020. We have also undertaken

essential drainage repair works within

the area.

Earthworks have commenced on the

Horsetrough phase of the scheme with

service diversions also being

undertaken by both BT and Western

Power Distribution. We have

constructed a temporary footpath for

the safe passage of pedestrians within

this area.

LOOK AHEAD PROGRAMME

Over the next month we will be

undertaking the following works on the

Horsetrough phase of the scheme:

• Diversionary works for BT and

Western Power Distribution

• Bulk excavation and drainage works

We will also be completing footpath

surfacing works at Chipmans Platt and

Oldends Lane.

ADVANCED WARNING

We will be undertaking night works on the Horsetrough phase of the scheme this week from Wednesday 4th December till Saturday 7th December 2019. The night works will be managed under 4 way lights, between 8pm and 6am to enable us to install ducts across the road in two locations.

Our site will close for Christmas on the 20th December and will re-open on 6th January. There will be no lane restrictions in place over the festive period. We wish you all a safe and peaceful Christmas and thank you for your patience and understanding whist we have been undertaking these works.
