Bayfair staff have been in contact with Mrs Harvey about some concerns they have with a small number of our students, including: Wheelies in the car park - health & safety issue, Noise levels, Dropped rubbish (inside and out) and Destroying plants in the food court.Thank you to all who do behave appropriately at our local shopping mall

There are a few students forgetting they need to stay off their bikes and scooters when they enter the school grounds in the morning and when departing in the afternoon. Please do not use the driveway in Links Ave to enter school.

Happy Harbour Fun Day Memorial Park, Devonport Road, Tauranga,

Saturday 3 March 2018 1:00pm – 7:00pm Part of Seaweek 2018. It is a family fun event that will have hands on outdoor activities to learn more about the Tauranga Harbour land, water and wildlife. Come and learn what’s happening in Tauranga Moana and see marine biologists dissect a shark, go on crab and critter hunts and take part in real science experiments. There will also be competitions, face painting, storytelling, bouncy castles, food, music and more.Important Notice:When you are in uniform, you are representing our school. Ride your bikes SAFELY. Netball - Congratulations to all the Year 7 students who trialled for Netball yesterday. See you next Tuesday 3:15 - 5pm for your final trial. Thank you to the year 8 students who supported with the warm up and umpiring.

GARDENS: if you are not in the enviro/garden group please do not touch any plants in any school garden - vegetable or other.

P.E Top:Josh Fletcher in Rm 13 was getting changed in the Boys Changing Room on Monday, and a boy picked up his Polo shirt by accident. If you have it please return to Rm 13.

DanceNZmade: Any students who have not already auditioned and would like to audition after school today must see Mrs Flanagan at lunchtime today. You do not have to have anything prepared. Please make sure you have either your dance gear or PE uniform.

Swimming pool: Just a reminder that we have new signs over at the pool that clearly state our school expectations, this includes NO jumping and bombing into our school pool at any time.

Year 7 Netball Trials - All Year 7s trialling today meet out on the turf (netball courts) ready at 3:15pm. Correct footwear and PE gear on and warmed up ready to go.

Attention all singers: Whaea Tara would like to set up a choir to take part in the Tauranga Schools Music Festival this year. If you love singing and would like to be a part of this please see Whaea Tara at lunchtime TODAY in Rm 10.

INDOOR BOWLS: keen to learn a new game? Want to be part of the AIMS Games in September? Indoor Bowls may just be the game for you. Come along and have a go on Wednesday in the hall after sit down lunch (cancelled if it is a wet lunchtime). Looking forward to seeing the Y8’s from last year to help teach our new students. Please be there promptly to set up. The Mt Maunganui Junior Indoor Bowls Club begins this Thursday at Club Mt Maunganui. Tuesday, February 27th Gymnastics: Trials in the hall after sit down lunch time today for all that put their names down the other week. Must be in PE gear.

Earring found: An earring was found in the swimming pool yesterday. If you have lost one please come to the office and just a reminder that no jewellery may be worn except one pair of simple ear studs.
