Happy Thanksgiving Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service Tuesday, November 25th at 7pm
Remembering the Goodness of God Join us with our neighbor churches
of Pinckney here at St. Mary for an evening of prayer.
Christ The King- November 23rd
Jesus is our King, but he never commands our allegiance. Instead, he waits for us to invite him to
reign in our hearts. How is Jesus’ kingship manifested in your life? Extend a fresh invitation to Jesus to reign
more fully in your heart.
Jesus, I pray that when you return, you will find faith among all people. May your return find me feeding the hungry, welcoming strangers, and
preaching your good news to all.
Thank You for Supporting Michael Grossmeyer We want to thank all of those who gave of their time, talents, and treasure to help support the Michael Grossmeyer Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. Through your generous help we were able to raise $11,000.00 to help the Grossmeyer family with Michael’s medical needs. It was a wonderful night and a great example of how God has a hand in all things. May God’s blessings be with all of you. Sincerely, Veronica Kinsey
RING THE BELL CAMPAIGN During this season of Thanksgiving, we give special
thanks for the faithful support and commitment of
parishioners to our parish. We are grateful for the many
blessings we have in our parish; for parishioners who actively
support our efforts; for parents committed to their children’s
formation; and for teachers whose dedication make our
mission a reality. Thank you and God bless.
The “Ring the Bell” campaign we are trying to raise
$300,000.00; the first $250,000.00 will go directly on the
principal of our parish debt, and with the remaining
$50,000.00 will be used toward building a simple bell tower.
We continue to need your support for the financial
stability of our Parish. Please return your pledge card
whether you are pledging over a period of time, or a zero
pledge. We as a faith community are praying that every
parish family will make a pledge, committing to help us to
reach our goal. Please take this to prayer; we are counting on
your faithful support. Payments can be made annually,
quarterly, monthly, weekly or a one-time donation.
Payments can begin now or at a date that is convenient for
you.
New donors to St. Mary Catholic Parish Capital
Campaign will have the opportunity to have your name(s)
placed on the recognition plaque in the gathering space.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact Debbie
at the parish office 734-878-3161 ext. 219.
“Be generous, sharing what you have.” (1 Timothy 6:18)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
A Prayer For Thanksgiving Oh God of all creation, giver of all good gifts, You bless our lives with your generous love,
by giving us once more the fruit of the fields, our family and friends,
our faith, our work, and our lives together.
We thank you for these gifts, and ask that you help us to imitate your goodness,
to share our blessings with those who are in need.
Amen.
