Tragen des Headsets

Platzieren Sie den Kopfhrer so, dass der Bgel hinter demKopf verluft und die Ohrbefestigungen ber den Ohren

liegen.

Einlegen/Entfernen des Akkus

To remove, press the Battery Ejector button.

Aufladen des Akkus

Laden Sie den Akku vor dem ersten Gebrauch mindestens2 Stunden lang.

Stecken Sie bei eingesetztem Akku ein Ende des Netzteils ineine Steckdose und das andere Ende in den USB-Anschlussdes Kopfhrers.

Der Akku kann auch geladen werden, indem der Kopfhrerber das USB-Kabel mit dem USB-Anschluss einesComputers verbunden wird.

Informationen zum Akku Ladezustandsanzeige: Der Ladezustand ist anhand der

LED-Farbe ablesbar. Bei niedrigem Batteriestand blinkt dieLED sekndlich rot auf.

LED-Farbe: Whrend des Ladens - rot,voller Ladestand - blau

Ladezeit: < 3 Stunden (Die Ladezeit ist vom Ladezustandabhngig)

Haltbarkeit des Akkus: Standby > 200 Std.,Audio-/Sprachverbindung: > 12 Std.

Da Akkus zu den Verbrauchskomponenten zhlen, ver-krzt sich die Leistungsdauer im Laufe der Zeit. Erwerben

Sie einen neuen Akku, wenn die Leistungsdauer deutlichabgenommen hat. Lassen Sie den Akku nicht fallen, setzen Sie ihn keinen

mechanischen Krften aus, und nehmen Sie ihn nichtauseinander, da dies zu Schden oder berhitzungfhren kann.

Bewahren Sie den Akku nicht in der Nhe von Hitze-quellen oder Mikrowellengerten auf, da er sonstexplodieren kann.

Nicht in Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahren. DieVerwendung schadhafter Akkus sowie der Kontakt mitder Mundschleimhaut knnen gesundheitsschdlich sein.

Sollte Sie in Kontakt mit ausgetretener Akku-Flssigkeitkommen, splen Sie die betroffenen Stellen 1-2 Minuten

unter flieendem Wasser ab. Verwenden Sie den Akku nicht mit anderen Gerten, da

dies zu Schden fhren kann.

Ein- und Ausschalten des Headsets Einschalten: ON/OFF drcken und 3-4 Sekunden lang

gedrckt halten bis die LED schnell blau aufblinkt. Dannloslassen.

Ausschalten: ON/OFF drcken und 3-4 Sekunden langgedrckt halten bis die LED schnell rot aufblinkt. Dannloslassen.

Platzieren Sie zum Einsetzen die Erhebung des Akkus in derVertiefung des Kopfhrers. Sobald die Kontakte des Akkusund des Kopfhrers sich berhren, drcken Sie den Akku an,um ihn vollstndig einzurasten.

Drcken Sie zum Entfernendie Akku-Auswurftaste.

Kopplung des Headsets mit Bluetooth-Gerten (Handy, PDA) Stellen Sie vor dem Koppeln des BSH-240-Headset mit

einem Bluetooth-Gert sicher, dass das andere Gert eineder folgenden Funktionen untersttzt. A2DP, AVRCP, Freis-prech- und Kopfhrerprofile.

Drcken Sie bei eingesetztem Akku gemeinsam dieTastenVol Up & ON/OFF und halten Sie sie fr 4 Sekun-den gedrckt. Lassen Sie die Tasten los, wenn dieLED abwechselnd rot und blau zu blinken beginnt. DieLED blinkt dann weiterhin rot und blau. Dieser Kop-plungsmodus hlt eine Minute lang an. Erfolgt innerhalbdieses Zeitraums keine Kopplung zwischen den Gerten,

kehrt das Headset in den Standby-Modus zurck. Schlieen Sie die Kopplung des Bluetooth-Gerts mithilfeder Tasten oder Mens ab. (Beachten Sie dazu die jewei-lige Bedienungsanleitung, da der Vorgang von Gert zuGert unterschiedlich sein kann). berprfen Sie, dassdas BSH-240 oder eine entsprechende Bluetooth-Adressein der Liste der zu suchenden Gerte enthalten ist. Wirddas Gert nicht gefunden, wiederholen Sie den Vorgang.

Wenn Sie zur Eingabe des PIN-Codes aufgefordert wer-den, geben Sie 0000 ein. Dies ist der voreingestellte PIN-Code fr BSH-240 Stereo Bluetooth Headset.

Einen Anruf mit dem Headset ttigen Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich Headset und Handy im

Verbindungsmodus befinden, und dass das Mikrofon inden USB-Anschluss des Headsets eingesteckt ist. Um ein Gesprch zu fhren, whlen Sie die gewnschte

Nummer mit dem Handy. Wenn Sie den Whlton hren,drcken Sie einmal die Multifunktionstaste, um das Ge-sprch an das Headset zu bergeben.

Um das Gesprch zu beenden, drcken Sie einmal die TasteON/OFF. Bei Mobiltelefonen, die nur ber ein Headset-Profilverfgen, kann das Gesprch sowohl mit der Multifunktions-

taste wie auch mit der ON/OFF-Taste beendet werden. Bei Bluetooth-Telefonen, die ber ein Freisprechprofil

verfgen, fhrt ein langes Drcken der Multifunktions-taste zur Wahlwiederholung der letzten empfangenenoder gewhlten Nummer.

Zur Wahlwiederholung whrend des Musikhrens ber einA2DP-Gert, drcken Sie lang auf die Multifunktionstaste.

Hinweis: Diese Funktion wird nicht von allen Telefonenuntersttzt. Der Vorgang der Wahlwiederholung kannje nach Gert abweichen. Bei einigen Telefonen wirddurch das lange Drcken der Multifunktionstaste zuerstdie Liste der zuletzt gewhlten und empfangen Nummernangezeigt. Bei anderen Telefonen erfolgt direkt die Wahl-wiederholung der zuletzt empfangenen oder gewhltenNummer. Bei einigen anderen Telefonen wird dieSprachwahl aktiviert.

Wenn Sie eine Sprachwahl durchfhren wollen,stellen Sie zunchst sicher, dass Ihr Telefon dieseFunktion untersttzt, dass sie aktiviert ist, und dass Voice-Tags gespeichert sind. Drcken Sie im Freisprechmoduseine Sekunde lang die ON/OFF-Taste.

Um whrend eines Gesprchs ein Dreiergesprch zufhren, drcken Sie kurz die Multifunktionsfunktionstaste,um das zweite Gesprch anzunehmen. Um zwischen demersten und zweiten Gesprch und umgekehrt zu wech-seln, drcken Sie kurz die Multifunktionstaste.

Hinweis: Zur Nutzung dieser Funktion mssen Sie beieinem entsprechenden Dienst angemeldet sein.

Einen Anruf mit dem Headset empfangen Um einen Anruf empfangen zu knnen, mssen sich

Bei Mobiltelefonen, die nur ber ein Headset-Profilverfgen, wird die ON/OFF-Taste zum Annehmen einesGesprchs verwendet.

Um das Gesprch zu beenden, drcken Sie einmal die Taste

tionen genutzt werde, wenn das Headset mit einem Audio-Gert verbunden ist, das A2DP und AVRCP untersttzt. Zum Abspielen des nchsten Titels drcken Sie die Taste

Vol Up und halten Sie sie eine Sekunde lang gedrckt. Zum Abspielen des vorherigen Titels drcken Sie dieTaste Vol Down und halten Sie sie eine Sekunde langgedrckt.

Fr die Funktion Pause drcken Sie die Multifunktionstaste MFB whrend des Abspielens einmal.

Um das Abspielen fortzusetzen, drcken Sie die Multifunktionstaste MFB erneut einmal.

Fr die Funktion Stop drcken Sie die Taste ON/OFFwhrend des Abspielens einmal.

Fr die Funktion Replay, drcken Sie dieMultifunktionstaste MFB einmal.

Das Headset erneut mit einem zuvor verbundenen Gertverbinden

Wenn das Headset bereits mit einem Bluetooth-Telefon,-PDA oder -Computer gekoppelt und verbunden wurde,kann es per Tastendruck erneut mit diesem Gertverbunden werden.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Bluetooth-Funktion desanderen Gertes eingeschaltet wurde.

Um eine erneute Verbindung mit dem Freisprechprofilherzustellen, schalten Sie das Headset ein. Daraufhin wirdautomatisch eine Verbindung mit dem Freisprechprofilhergestellt.

Wenn Sie eine erneute Verbindung mit A2DP herstellenmchten, um Musik zu hren, drcken Sie kurz die Multi-funktionstaste. Daraufhin wird eine Verbindung mit A2DPhergestellt. Drcken Sie zum Abspielen von Musik erneut

die Multifunktionstaste.Scatternet-Verbindung Scatternet-Verbindung bedeutet, dass ein Bluetooth-Gert

in der Lage ist, gleichzeitig mit zwei Gerten verbunden zuwerden, also beispielsweise die gleichzeitige Verbindungdes Headsets mit einem Bluetooth-Telefon und einemUSB-Dongle.

Das oben genannte Szenario ist nur mglich, wenn dasBluetooth-Telefon sowohl Freisprech- wie auch Kopfhr-erprofile untersttzt. Eine Scatternet-Verbindung kannnicht mit Bluetooth-Telefonen hergestellt werden, dieA2DP untersttzen, da A2DP- fhige Telefone sowohlA2DP wie auch Freisprech- wie auch Kopfhrerprofileber das Headset verfgbar machen.

Als nchstes trennen Sie das Headset vom Telefon undkoppeln das Headset mit dem anderen Gert, beispiels-weise mit dem Computer per USB-Dongle.

Bei Kopplung und Verbindung mit dem Computer per A2DPstellen Sie eine Verbindung zwischen Headset undBluetooth-Telefon (Sprachverbindung) vom Telefon ausher. Jetzt ist das Headset mit dem Computer per A2DP(Stereo) verbunden und mit dem Telefon ber SCO(Sprache).

Bei einem eingehenden Anruf bei gleichzeitigem Audio-Stream vom Computer wird die Musik unterbrochen undes folgt der Klingelton. Drcken Sie zum Annehmen desGesprchs einmal die Multifunktionstaste.

Um das Gesprch zu beenden, drcken Sie einmal die TasteON/OFF. Wenn der Gesprchspartner das Gesprch been-det, brauchen Sie die Taste ON/OFF nicht zu drcken. Wenn

Wearing the Headset

Place the Headset such that the neckband goes behind

the head and the ear hangers rest over the ears.

Mounting/Removing battery

To remove, press the Battery Ejector button.

Charging the battery

Charge battery at least 2 hours before use at the time ofpurchase

With battery mounted onto Headset, plug one end ofAC/DC adapter into AC power supply and the other intoUSB port of Headset.

Battery can also be changed by connecting Headset toUSB port of PC using the USB cable.

Battery Information Battery Level Indicator: Battery level can be checkedby color of LED. When battery level is low, LED flashesred every second.

LED color : During charging - Red, Fully charged - Blue Charging time : < 3hours

(Charging time varies with battery level) Battery Life : Standby > 200hrs, Audio /Voice

Because of its consumable nature, battery life cyclegradually degrades over time. Purchase new battery ifbattery life has degraded significantly.

To switch on the Headset, click and hold ON/OFF for 3-4

Pairing Headset with Bluetooth Devices (Phone, PDA)

Before pairing the BSH-240 Headset with BluetoothDevices, please make sure the host device supports anyof the following profiles : A2DP, AVRCP, Headset/Hands-free profiles.

With battery mounted onto Headset, click and hold VolUp & ON/OFF buttons together for more than 4 seconds.When LED starts to flash red and blue alternately, re-lease the two buttons. LED will then flash red and bluecontinuously. This pairing mode will last for 1 minute andif no pairing is made within this period, the Headset will

return to standby mode. Manipulate the buttons or menus of Bluetooth device

to complete pairing (Refer to devices manual as theinstructions may differ from device to device). Checkif the BSH-240 or corresponding Bluetooth Address isdisplayed in the list of searched devices. If device is notfound, repeat pairing procedure.

When prompted to enter pinkey, enter 0000 which is thefixed pinkey for BSH-240 Stereo Bluetooth Headset.

Using the Headset to Make a Call

Make sure Headset and mobile phone are in connectionmode and microphone plugged into USB port of Head-

set. To make a call, dial from the mobile phone and when dial

tone is heard, click MFB once to switch over to Head-set.

To end a call, press ON/OFF button once. For mobilephones supporting headset profile only, either MFB orON/OFF button may be used to end call.

For Bluetooth phones that support Handsfree Profile,clicking the MFB button in a long manner will activate thephone to redial to the last number received or called.

To redial while listening to music from an A2DP device,long click MFB.

Note : Some phones do not support this feature. For re-dialing, the procedures may differ from one device toanother. For some phones, clicking the MFB in a longmanner will first activate the phone to display the list ofthe last numbers received or called. For others, clickingthe MFB in a long manner will redial to the last numberreceived or called directly. And again on others it willactivate Voice dialing.

To voice dial, make sure your phone supports voice dial-ing and that it is activated and voice tags have been re-corded. Press the ON/OFF button for one second in idlehandsfree mode.

To make a 3 way call, while on a call, short click MFB toanswer second call. To switch from second call to firstcall and vice versa, short click MFB.

Note : This function can only be used if user has sub-scribed for such service.

Using the Headset to Answer a Call

To be able to answer a call, the Headset and mobilephone must be connected and microphone plugged intoUSB port of Headset.

On an incoming call, bell will ring from both Headset andmobile phone and LED on Headset will flash blue rapidly.Call can be answered from phone or from Headset bypressing MFB once.

For mobile phones supporting only headset profile, theON/OFF button is used to answer incoming call.

To end call, press ON/OFF button once. For mobilephones supporting only headset profile, either MFB orON/OFF button may be used to end call.

If the other party ends the call first, Headset will auto-matically enter into standby mode without the user hav-ing to press ON/OFF button to end the call.

To reject call, short click ON/OFF button.

Remote Control Function

Headset can be used to remote control playbackfunctions if Headset is connected to audio devicesupporting A2DP and AVRCP.

To play Next song, click and hold Vol Up button for1 sec.

To play Previous song, click and hold Vol Down

button for 1 sec. To Pause, click MFB once during play. To Resume, click MFB once in Pause mode. To Stop, click ON/OFF button once during play. To Replay, click MFB once.

Reconnecting Headset with Previously Connected

Device If the Headset has been paired and connected withBluetooth Phone, PDA or PC, then it can be reconnect-ed to the previously connected device via button press.

Make sure the Bluetooth function of the device to bereconnected has been powered on.

to reconnect to handsfree profile, simply power onheadset and it will automatically connect to handsfreeprofile.

to reconnect to A2DP for listening to music, short clickMFB and it will connect to A2DP. To play music, shortclick MFB once again.

Scatternet Connection

Scatternet connection refers to the ability of oneBluetooth device to connect to two devices simultane-ously. This means for instance connecting the Headsetto Bluetooth phone and USB dongle at the same time.

The above scenario is only possible if the Bluetoothphone supports headset and/or handsfree profiles.Scatternet connection cannot be realized with Blue-tooth phones supporting A2DP because A2DP enabledphone will make use of both A2DP and Headset/Hands-free profiles available from headset.

Via scatternet connection, you can answer incomingcall from a Bluetooth phone while listening to musicfrom another audio device like PC linked to USB dongle.

To establish Scatternet Connection, first pair and con-nect Headset with Bluetooth phone to save Headsetpairing information in phone.

Next, disconnect Headset from phone and pair Headsetwith the other device, for instance to PC via USB dongle.

When paired and connected to PC via A2DP,establish connection between Headset and BluetoothPhone(voice link) by connecting from phone. Nowthe Headset is connected to PC via A2DP(stereo) andphone via SCO(voice).

On an incoming call while streaming audio from PC,music will stop followed by bell ring. Click MFB once toanswer the call.

To end the call, press ON/OFF button once. If the otherparty ends the call first, then you dont have to pressON/OFF button. When call is ended, music will playautomatically.

Port du casque

Placez le casque de telle sorte que le serre-nuque passederrire la tte et que les attaches des oreillettes passent au

dessus des oreilles.

Mise en place/retrait de la batterie

Charge de la batterie

Chargez la batterie pendant au moins 2 heures avant la 1reutilisation.

Une fois la batterie installe dans le casque, insrez uneextrmit de ladaptateur CA/CC dans une prise de courantet lautre extrmit dans le port USB du casque.

La batterie peut galement tre charge en connectant lecasque au port USB dun ordinateur laide du cble USB.

Couplage du casque avec un appareil Bluetooth(tlphone, PDA) Avant de coupler le casque BSH-240 avec un appareil

Bluetooth, assurez-vous que lappareil hte supporte udes profils suivants : A2DP, AVRCP, profils casque/mainslibres.

Appuyez et maintenez la pression sur les touches VolUp & ON/OFF pendant 4 secondes (aprs avoir installla batterie dans lappareil). Relchez les deux touchesds que la DEL commence clignoter alternativementen rouge et bleu. La DEL clignote alternativement enrouge et bleu en permanence. Ce mode de couplage est

conserv pendant 1 minute ; le casque retourne en modeveille si aucun couplage nest ralis dans cet intervalle. Utilisez les touches ou les menus de lappareil Bluetooth

afin de terminer la procdure de couplage (consultez lemanuel dutilisation de votre portable ; il est possible queles instructions diffrent dun appareil lautre).

Saisissez 0000 ds que vous tes invit saisir le codePIN ; 0000 est le code fixe pour le casque stroBluetooth BSH-240.

Utilisation du casque pour effectuer un appel Assurez-vous que le casque et le tlphone portable sont

en mode de connexion et que le microphone a tbranch dans le port USB du casque.

Pour effectuer un appel, composez le numro sur letlphone portable et, ds que vous entendez la tonalit,cliquez une fois sur la touche MFB pour transfrerlappel vers le casque.

Pour terminer un appel, appuyez une fois sur la toucheON/OFF. Utilisez sur les tlphones portables supportantuniquement le profil casque, soit la touche MFB , soit la

touche ON/OFF afin de mettre fin un appel. Avec les tlphones Bluetooth supportant le profil mains

libres, appuyez sur la touche MFB de manire prolonge afin de recomposer le dernier numro reu ouappel.

Appuyez longuement sur la touche MFB afin de recomposer un numro pendant que vous coutez de la

musique sur un appareil A2DP. Remarque : Certains tlphones ne supportent pas cettefonction. La procdure pour recomposer un numro peutdiffrer dun appareil lautre. Sur certains tlphones,le fait dappuyer longuement sur la touche MFB entranera dabord laffichage sur le tlphone de la listedes derniers numros reus ou appels. Sur dautres

tlphones, appuyer longuement sur la touche MFB entranera la recomposition directe du dernier numroappel ou reu. Sur dautres encore, cette manipulationactivera la reconnaissance vocale.

Avant dutiliser la reconnaissance vocale, assurez-vousque votre tlphone supporte bien cette fonction, quelleest active et que les noms de vos correspondants ont tenregistrs. Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF pendant uneseconde en mode mains libres inactif.

Pour parler un troisime correspondant pendant uneconversation active, appuyez brivement sur la touche MFB ds que lappel est entrant. Appuyez brivementsur la touche MFB afin de commuter dun appel lautre.

Remarque : Cette fonction est active uniquement dans lecas o vous lavez slectionne auprs de votre fourniseur de services.

Reconnexion du casque avec un appareil dj connectdans le pass

Dans le cas o le casque a dj t connect un por-tableBluetooth, un PDA ou un ordinateur, ce dernier peuttre reconnect lappareil auquel il a dj t connectdans le pass en appuyant sur une touche.

Assurez-vous que la fonction Bluetooth de lappareilauquel le casque doit tre reconnect a bien t active.

Pour rtablir la connexion au profil mains libres, mettez lecasque sous tension. La connexion se fera alors automa-

tiquement. Pour rtablir la connexion au A2DP afin dcouter de la

musique, appuyez brivement sur la touche MFB .Pour lancer la lecture musicale, appuyez nouveaubrivement sur la touche MFB .

Connexion Scatternet

La technique scatternet fait rfrence la capacitdappareils Bluetooth de pouvoir se connectersimultament deux appareils, ce qui signifie que vouspouvez, par exemple, connecter simultanment votrecasque un portable Bluetooth et un dongle USB.

Le cas de figure dcrit ci-dessus est possible uniquementdans le cas o le tlphone Bluetooth supporte les profilscasque et/ou mains libres. La fonction Scatternet ne peutpas tre ralise avec des tlphones Bluetooth supportant A2DP car les tlphones A2DP utiliseront les deuxprofils (A2PD et casque/mains libres) disponibles partirdu casque.

Via scatternet, vous pourrez rpondre un appel entrantsur un tlphone Bluetooth pendant que vous coutez de

la musique sur un autre appareil audio comme unordinateur connect un dongle USB. Pour tablir la connexion scatternet, couplez et connectez

premirement le casque au tlphone Bluetooth afin desauvegarder les informations de couplage du casquedans le tlphone.

Dconnectez ensuite le casque du tlphone et couplez lecasque lautre appareil, un ordinateur via dongle USB,par exemple.

Etablissez la connexion entre le casque et le tlphoneBluetooth (voice link) partir du tlphone ds que le

couplage et la connexion lordinateur est tablie viaA2DP. Votre casque est alors connect lordinateur viaA2DP (son stro) et le tlphone via SCO (voix).

Lors dun appel entrant, alors que la lecture audio encontinu est active sur lordinateur, la musique sarrteraet une sonnerie retentira. Appuyez sur la touche MFB pour rpondre lappel.

Appuyez un fois sur la touche ON/OFF afin de terminerlappel. Si votre interlocuteur termine le premier lappel,vous ne devrez pas appuyer sur la touche ON/OFF. Lalecture de la musique reprendra automatiquement dsque lappel est termin.
