FARMHOUSE AND OUT-BUILDINGS The farmhouse of Hall of Gorn was last inhabited in the late 1980’s, and, although the house is not habitable in its present form, the roof and walls are structurally stable. The old farm steading comprises of several small stone built byres/sheds and, again, roofs and walls are fairly sound. The property is accessed by a short private farm track road which leads on the the Hurtiso Road,

Of the 23.03 hectares there are 17.08 hectares of Region 1 land, which attracts a payment of 174.45 euros per unit under the Basic Payment Scheme, and 83 euros of Greening Payment per unit. The land may also be eligible for an LFAAS payment, subject to animal livestock units owned. Basic Payment Scheme Entitlements will be included in the sale of the property. The remaining 5.95 hectares is classified as Region 2 land. The fields are all well fenced and there is a “mains” water supply to troughs in every field. With the exception of the 5.95 hectares of Region 2 land, which is rough meadow grazing, the fields are dry, which allows early turn-out of stock in Spring, and are suitable for crop growing.
