IntroFighting was intense. Adults and children alike were being used as human shields to protect Isis personnel. Stationed only a few miles away, we were within eyesight of daily bombings.
Slowly the Iraqi army began pushing through Mosul, freeing people from Isis control. We began building relationships with local residents and soldiers. We asked what we could do to help.
The answer was clear. People were being shot. The local doctor in charge wanted our help.
There was just one problem. Our team didn’t have medical training.
Have you ever watched the Marines, the Navy or the Coast Guard and admired what they do and how they do it? I have, although my conscience doesn’t allow me to join those groups.
Regardless, I’ve begun to wonder why we as Christians don’t have similar trained responses to natural disasters and man-made problems. Who could be better prepared to go on the front lines to show Christ’s love?
Over the past few years, I’ve met and joined with people who share these same passions, visions, and dreams. Today, God is providing individuals with extreme giftings who are passionate about equipping this generation to launch into hard-to-reach and hostile areas.
We’re calling this generation to rise to the challenge. Specifically, we are equipping young people today with the necessary training and experience to take the Gospel straight into the front lines.

Guardian International is a professional rescue and response program. We train and equip people of this generation to respond as professionals to war zones and natural disasters around the world. Through our training, cadets are able to earn college degrees as they complete both classroom instruction alongside hours of on-the-field, real-life experience.
In deployments, we focus on both hard-to-reach areas, as well as unreached people groups from around the globe. We are currently becoming an internationally recognized program and anticipate the need for helicopter pilots, doctors, nurses, first responders, technology experts, and UXO experts.
• Professional rapid response to both natural and man-made disasters.
• A loving, non-resistant response to evil.
• Operations in extreme, undesirable, and high-risk areas.
• Priority for unreached and hard-to-reach people.
• Cutting edge training to develop one’s whole person – body, soul, and spirit.
• Ongoing accountability, mentorship, and life coaching for cadets.
The military, Bible colleges, humanitarian organizations, missionaries, and pastors all offer different parts of what we do. What makes us unique is how we combine these facets into a single program. We include:

To spread the love of God through disaster relief and humanitarian aid, as well as equip this generation with the leadership skills needed to live a God-honoring life.
To develop, train, and mobilize specialized teams to bring leadership, humanitarian aid, and hope to high-risk crisis zones.
To give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; and deliver them from the hand of the wicked (Psalms 82:3-4).

A Guardian is not merely a person trained for a specific task. Rather, a Guardian will at his/her core live out the following values:
Core Values of a Guardian
A Guardian understands
that their whole person (body,
soul, and spirit) must be prepared for and engaged
in service.
Whole Heart
A Guardian never stops
learning, growing, and striving to
improve.
Culture of Learning
A Guardian commits to leading and
following with excellence,
professionalism, and humility. In addition, a
Guardian always places the team
above self.
Leadership
Based on Psalm 82:3, a
Guardian serves as a defender, protector, and
keeper.

Financial overviewWe plan for our training program to be self-funded by 2030 through tuition, grants, scholarships, as well as the Guardian Foundation.
We do not require our staff to raise their own support. Rather, we provide each of our staff with a fair wage sufficient to cover standard housing and living expenses.

Our cadets will primarily be training during their first two years before launching into full time deployment in year three.
However, war-zones are not disappearing and disasters are not letting up. So to address this pressing need, we have hand-selected five high caliber individuals to complete a condensed seven month training interspersed with deployments.
Training begins August, 2020. Following training, the team will continue being deployed as needs and funds allow.

Make an Impact Wars continue igniting. Earthquakes, flooding, and death are still a very real reality.
Natural disasters alone account for
approximately 90,000 deaths every single year. An additional 160 million lives are affected by natural disasters each year.
And the problem isn’t going away.

Scripture makes it clear these tragedies will only continue increasing as the end draws near.
Which gives us a unique opportunity: as needs increase, opportunities to expand Christ’s Kingdom are growing exponentially larger too.
The doctor in Mosul that requested our help? We were forced to say no. We simply weren’t qualified.
Today, Isis is no longer reigning terror in Mosul. Yet around the globe people are still dying.
People that don’t yet have the Gospel.People that have never heard about Christ’s love.
To you and I, the doors are still open.
Will you join us in equipping this generation to respond with the Gospel?
