I am an artist. I want to work professionally as a photographer incorporating my skills as an artist, a graphic designer and a writer. I feel the need for support whilst I establish myself. I am currently picking up work through word of mouth. I have photographed weddings, yoga retreats, corporate head shots, bands, stills in conjunction with a filmaker, gallery openings and many other special events.
I have been shortlisted for the Head On Photography prize and a semi finalist for the Moran Photography Portrait Prize. I was also part of the ABC Photo Finish programme this year.
I like to tell stories with my images. Community is very important to me and I am always looking to capture the physical and emotional moments that are found in the intimate connections between people and the story they are creating together.
