Following steps are used to resolve GRUB issue :

1) We booted GNL151 from the CD. And entered into single user mode.2) GOT into GRUB console by typing grub.

RESULT : grub>

3)TYPE: root (hd0,0)where hd0 is the primary harddisk and 0 is used to identify the boot partition.The output of root (hd0,0) will be a description of the filesystem it has selected.

4) RUN :setup(hd0) This is where you want to install grub.

5)Quit the grub shell and reboot.
