E. Budget/ResourcesDescribe the adequacy of the budget and resources to meet the needs of the program over the next four years. Identify resources needed to support proposed program /curriculum changes. We have money for supplies - $10,000. Why don’t we use it for class trips and getting our students to major events at four year universities. Need to create other budget categories so we can better meet the needs of our students and our program. ACTION NEEDED? YES XXXX NO

F. Facilities & EquipmentDescribe the adequacy of the budget and resources to meet the needs of the program over the next four years. Highlight facilities needs or changes that will be necessary to support proposed program/curriculum changes.

We need a dedicated room for the Architectural Technology and Architectural Design Programs. Could we have a room for Construction Materials and an area to showcase projects we are doing in the area. Using the MTec Tassel to teach building construction classes was great, but class schedules and lack of transportation to that campus makes it hard to use. What can the administration do to make it easier for the students to get to the MTec Tassel.

G. Challenges & Barrier to Meeting Last Year’s Goals

Describe challenges and barriers to meeting last year’s goals.

Finding the time and resources to effectively promote and coordinate the new architectural design program and transfer to the Architecture Program at Lawrence Tech. Finding the time and student leaders to continue the USGBC Student Organization of GRCC. Receiving the training to effectively teach AR 112 with the new Autodesk Revit MEP Software. We are attending Autodesk University. Finding the time to update the Master Notebooks. Constant administrative demands for reports etc, compromise our ability to meet student needs . We need to focus on less projects and doing them well instead of doing too many projects.
