• February 2016–May 2016 University of Tennessee Institute for Nuclear Security International Journal of Nuclear Security (IJNS) Accra, Ghana/Knoxville, Tennessee PDC Instructor/Team Member: Traveled to Ghana to present a professional development course (PDC) at a nuclear security conference hosted by the African Centre for Science and International Security (AFRICSIS). Focused course content around effective, written communication in the form of technical documents within the global nuclear security sector, such as research findings, grant proposals, and policy adjustments. • December 2015–May 2016 University of Tennessee Institute for Nuclear Security International Journal of Nuclear Security (IJNS) Knoxville, Tennessee Editorial Intern Coordinator: Provided technical editing support to writing candidates for submission and publication in the journal, and assisted the Managing Editor with editorial tasks.
