Valley Christian Academy is once again participating in Mission Hope Cancer Cen-ter’s annual fundraiser. A number of our secondary students will be wearing Day of Hope orange aprons so you can spot them
easily, and they will be in the school parking lot ready to sell a Santa Maria Times newspaper for just $1. This is an amazing fundraiser for Mission Hope with one hundred percent of all Day of Hope proceeds going to benefit cancer programs and support services for local patients and families. Please help us help those in need in our community.
Go the extra mile. It’s never crowded.
April 8 -

It’s the 4th and
final quarter of
this school year,
and now is not
the time to quit.
It’s time to work
even harder!!
Get to school
on time, finish
all assignments, and above all,
DO YOUR BEST! Push through
the fatigue, push through the
struggles, and push through all
the disappointments by pressing
on and finishing the job. You
don’t want to look back someday
and know you could have done
better.
Testing Dates: April 12 - 18
Though it only comes once a year,
achievement tests are extremely
important for our young people and
Valley Christian Academy. We ask
that you make every effort to see
that your child is in attendance for
these important tests. Please avoid
scheduling any appointments or
planning any extra activities during
this test time so that your student
can focus on working hard and do-
ing his best.
All students entering 7th grade for the 2019-2020
school year must have proof of an adolescent whoop-
ing cough booster called Tdap. Beat the back-to-school rush if you have a student
entering 7th grade in the fall, and get your child immunized as soon as possible. If
you need more information on the California Tdap requirement, including information
on where to get free or low cost vaccines, visit www.ShotsForSchool.org.
