and include restoring boreholes, distributing healthy cooking stoves and supplying biogas plants to rural communities.

Activities available in select hotels include:
• Zero-carbon city bicycle tour • Tree planting to put down roots in your host city• Fresh air, zero-carbon, organic picnic lunch in the park• ‘Walk for Water’ to experience the struggles many face to access safe drinking
water. For each kilometer walked while carrying 20 liters of water, we donate funds to provide a child with safe drinking water for life.
• A race on fitness bikes – placed in your event space – to keep fit during breaks. Per 10 km, the hotel offsets an additional ton of carbon for you.
• Electrical vehicle (EV) test drive with our local car partner

All Radisson Blu hotels monitor carbon, energy and water usage through these initiatives – and many more – to achieve year-on-year reductions. We have reduced our per-guest water use by one third in Europe, the Middle East and Africa over the past 10 years.* And our hotels in Asia reduced energy use by more than 20%.**

to Safety and Security. Our hotel-based security programs are continuously evolving to help provide safe hotels for our guests and for hotel staff.
The SafeHotels Alliance, an independent certification organization, has externally validated 160 Radisson Blu hotels – the first international hotels in the world to
achieve this key Safety and Security certification.
G I V I N G B A C KRadisson Blu passionately believes in giving back to people in need – both locally and internationally. Our dedicated focus on water related issues helps to provide access to
safe drinking water and to increase levels of hygiene across the globe.
Blu Planet Towel ProgramSimply reuse your towel to help a child. For every 250 towels that are reused
in our hotels, Radisson Blu donates to the international water charity, Just A Drop, which helps provide a child in Africa, Latin America or India with safe drinking water
for life. To date, our guests’ commitment has helped provide safe drinking water to over 10,000 children.
Soap for HopeWith Soap for Hope, Blu hotels in emerging markets recycle unfinished soap bars and donate them to the local community. This vital recycling program promotes
hygiene and health care. Saving hundreds of lives, enhancing wellbeing and protecting the environment in areas that need it most. More than 50 Radisson Blu
