Open Forum Itwas very pleasing to see such a large gathering of Mohyal brothers and sisters, and everyone looked forward to a nice pleasant interaction. However a few individuals who were notmembers ofthe Managing Committee and had apparently cometo disruptthe normalsmooth functioning ofthe meeting, left a bad taste bytheir ungentlemanly conduct. They showed utterdisrespect to the senior and revered leadership of GMS the apex body ofthe Mohyals and the meeting was nearly annuled. The disruptive situation was brought undercontrol, when Rzd. B.D Bali PresidentGMS agreed to have a closed doorone-to-one meeting with Shri Sunil Vaid and Shri Kailash Chhibber. The meetings were held in the presence of Maj. Gen. K K Bakshi, Convenerofthe Committee constituted to go into the matter and recommend action to be taken against three members. lt is on record thatthe recommendations of this committee were not allowed to be discussed, despite repeated requestsfrom Rzd. BD. Bali.

After these meetings, all members reassembled in the meeting halland heard Rzd. B.D Baliwith raptattention and there was pin drop silence. Rzd. B.D Bali appealed to the membersto remain calm and advised everyone to contribute in a positive way and notto breakthe Unity ofthe Community. Community willsuffer ifdissensions are created. He said we are all brothers and, whatare we fighting for-the Chair, control of assets created over nearly 40 years ofselfless service or for doing social work-if this be the case then it should be highlighted in your contributions to the community. We should not do anything to disturb community harmony and avoid irritants at all costs. Shri Sunil Vaid was apologetic and assured the House that he had full regards for Rzd. B.D Bali

GMS in any way. He committed that in future he will make positive contribution to the Community and also withdraw the Court case filed against the GMS. The House unanmiously said that Shri Sunil Duttwho was not present in the meeting should give a public apology that he was sorryforthe pastand itwill nothappen in future. Shri Kailash Chhibberdenied totally any cash transaction with any person and said thatthe tape was concocted. Rzd. B.D Bali said let us acceptwhateverhe has said. He summed up, let us act as brothers and collectively take the community forward. GMS is not interested in terminating membership of anyone if positive contribution is made through any media. The House agreed to close these cases, in larger interest of the Community and let bygones, be bygones. His speech was very well received with continuous clapping of hands and roars ofJAl MOHYAL and smiles on all faces.

Smt. Raj Rani Bhai (Chhibber): Her second death anniversary was observed on 30Sept.2014 by the family at

their residence B-4/111 Paschim Vihar New Delhi. On this day a Bhajan-Kirtan was organized. As she was very social and popular the kirtan was affended by one and all of the block. All prayed to God to grant peace to the deported noble soul.

The late Raj Rani preferred to remain house wife and took great interest to look after the house. She was dominating and managed the family affairs with competence and kept the members of the family disci- plined and bonded together. She was instrumental in bring- ing up the children. We have two sons both are colonels and a daughter who is seffled in New York. All are well settled, happily married and blessed with children.

All learned people console me and say that birth and death are certain and that she has only changed her abode and is living somewhere else and I

should not go into deep grief and try to forget the incident as routine of this world. But it may be possible for Sadhu's Sanyasi's and Yogis.A normal human being like me cannot

forget the happy moments of life which I spent with my part- ner ofsuch a long association of over 54 year. For me life has become lifeless.

"Zinda hoon mai is tarah ki zindagi nahi , Jalta hua diya hoon magar roshani nahi"
