GLOBAL EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
For Bridge Structural Health Monitoring System, Lighting, Lifts and Pylon cleaning arrangements
Govt. of Delhi (India) proposes to construct a Cable Stayed Bridge at Wazirabad, Delhi. The total length of bridge is 675 meters (main span 251m) accommodating a dual carriageway of 4 lanes each. The pylon is 154 m high and is bow-shaped with stay cables on one side and back stays on other side. Executive Engineer-II, Wazirabad Bridge Project on behalf of CMD, DTTDC invites Global Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputed firms/JVs having similar experience and expertise in designing, installing and maintaining the following categories of works. A. Bridge Structural Health Monitoring System (BSHMS) A comprehensive BSHMS is proposed to be installed..Data shall be monitored on a continuous and real time basis and shall give reliable and timely diagnosis of the Bridge structural conditions. B. Lighting The design of the lighting & illumination and shall also cover all the prominent features of the bridge and approaches using energy efficient, state of the art technology. C. Lifts
Total four lifts (Two lifts each on the legs and body of the pylon) are proposed. The lifts in the leg shall be capable of inclined traveling. The capacity of the lifts proposed is nine passengers with minimum one meter per second of speed of travel.
D. Pylon Cleaning Arrangements A suitable system, whereby all the external surfaces of pylon can be approached for maintenance, cleaning, repairing etc. The applicant must include in their EOI. 1. The past experience of the firm in the concerned item of work. 2. Brief technical proposal for the concerned item of work. 3. Financial turnover of the firm for the previous three years.
