GI | 2011 | OFFICES | HELSINKI, FINLAND | 2 040 m²

Nordea Bank Finland’s old offices was transformed into a new mobile office. In this new mobile office the staff has no named work stations. The office is divided into different acoustical areas such as quiet/no talk area, light conversa-tion areas and loud areas. Loud areas are used by people who do most of their work via phone. This type of loud work is put in to rooms with proper acoustical insulation.

The lighting system has been designed to automatically ad-just to sunlight: when the sun is shining outside the indoor lighting is dimmer. This is just one of the many changes that have been made to make the building ecologically friendly and thus lowering the maintenance costs such as electricity and heating.
