to Illinois State University, and is a founding member of the Big Ten Conference 

• The University is in the twin cities of Champaign and Urbana• Ranked 13th among public universities in the

nation

• Do not accept letters of recommendation.• ACT/SAT score vary on program entering, but usually

lowest is 25/1170 respectively

• The university comprises 17 colleges that offer more than with more than 150 undergraduate and more than 100 graduate and professional programs

• Amongst them there is the College of Engineering and Business which is most identified with the university

• The College of Engineering is ranked 5th in undergraduate and graduate programs nationally
