Phaino: An Evening of WorshipOn Sunday, Nov. 7th we will begin a
new series of bi-monthly worship ev
entitled Phaino An Evening of
Worship. Phaino comes from the
Greek word which means to
shine, or to give light, or to bring
light. The Apostle Paul exhorted the
church of Philippi to shine (Phaino)
like stars in the sky, among a crookedand warped generation, as
you hold
firmly to the word of life
(Philippians 2:14-16).
Each Phaino will have its own theme and its own distinct worship
exper
geared to challenged us to phaino (shine) forth the Gospel of
Christ as we s
and show the love of God to those around us.

Grace Givers:
The purpose of Grace Givers is to show the love of Christ to our

by providing food to families in need. The food is provided by
gen
donations from Grace Christian Fellowships families and kids.

leaders. T
who participate in Grace Givers have the privilege of donating
food to t
in need, taking the time to deliver the food to the homes of the

praying with the families, spreading the Gospel to the families

Pack-A-Sack:
Pack-A-Sack is a program that provides weekend snacks for
underprivil
grade school children from Mildred Helms Elemenatary these are

from our own community whose families are unable to provide

food for them on the weekends. This too is a wonderful way for

to show the love of Christ by taking care of a very practical

Adults assemble all the sacks of snacks together during their
monthly S
Adult Luncheon on the 3rd
Thursday of every month.But anyone canby bringing snack items to
the church and depositing them in the Pa
Sack box in the Ministry Table Area (in the sanctuary). Also,
