• New England– 1.325 million gallons, 14.575 million pounds, down 10% from

2009– 5.375 million taps, up than 4%– 0.247 gallons, 2.717 pounds per tap, down 13% from 2009



2010 Maple Syrup Production Highlights• Vermont

– 890,000 gallons, 9.79 million pounds, down 3%– 3,200,000 taps, up 6%– 0.278 gallons, 3.058 pounds per tap, down 9%

• New York– 312,000 gallons, 3.432 million pounds, down 29%– 1,903,000 taps, up 4%– 0.164 gallons, 1.804 pounds per tap, down 32%

• Maine– 310,000 gallons, 3.41 million pounds, down 22%– 1,430,000 taps, down 3 percent– 0.217 gallons, 2.387 pounds per tap, down 19%
