Extend your home into your garden or simply create a tranquil hideaway with Wickes Decking. High quality raw material Wickes Decking is made ONLY from Scandinavian pine, originating from the slow growing forests to the north of Sweden. Why? The shorter hours of sunlight this far north results in tighter and more compact growth rings. You can see this on the end of the deck board below which can have over 20 growth rings per inch. Usually the more growth rings the more stable a deck board is likely to be.

We take our time in providing a quality product All species of timber can move and split when constantly subject to changing heat and rain. Wickes decking is ONLY made from wood grown from trees at least 80 years old! Combined with careful modern methods of kiln drying this typically helps make wood more stable and therefore less prone to splitting and twisting than fast growth timber.

Wickes Deckboards are 140mm wide which is signi cantly wider than some economy Deck Boards so you may need to buy fewer boards. A thickness of 28mm gives added strength compared with some thinner ones.

Superior sourcing Our Deck Boards are produced from Scandinavian pine, which often gives a smoother nish with no resin pockets so no sticky mess on a hot day.

Longer lengths available Wickes decking is available in 2.4m, 3.6m and 4.8m lengths allowing you to mix deck board lengths and use the right length for your decking project.

Wickes Deck Boards are FSC certi ed (Forest Stewardship Council) meaning that they are sourced from forests that are sustainably managed.

Anti-rot guarantee Pressure treated to help resist rot and to give the product a longer life. All Wickes Deck Boards come with a 10 year anti-rot guarantee subject to manufacturers terms and conditions (This is in addition to your statutory rights).
