. March 17: St. Patrick’s Day

March 12: Daylight saving time begins, freeing American city-

dwellers from the constant refrain of “it’s dark before I even leave

work.”

March 20: The sun shines on the equator for the Vernal Equi-

nox, giving us a near 50-50 split of day and night.

March 1: As the saying goes, March comes “In like a lion, out

like a lamb.”

March 14: Pi Day celebrates the annual occurrence of 3.14 with

pi-reciting competitions, and (of course) fresh baked pie.

teaming up to offer a Senior

YOGA Class. Lindon Senior

Center will be busing from Lindon

at 9:30 to Orem on the 2nd and 4th

Friday of each month. There will

be a $8.00 fee for the class. $7.00

for a year membership with Orem

and 1.00 for transportation.

Community Senior Garden

Many hands makes light work, We have an Opportunity to

improve the Lindon Senior Center and we can’t do it with out

you! We are excited to start a Community Senior Garden If you have anything that you would like to donate please contact

the Senior Coordinator, Cyndi at 801-769-8627 We need seeds, small plants, small gardening tools, donations for soil,

and a willingness to spend some time in the soil.
