Welcome to Chuck’s Monthly MLM Tips newsletter. The information you will find inside is designed to help you grow your network marketing business with ease, so
you can make more money and have more fun in your business. My newsletter is published on the first of the month. ====================================

Secret Tip of the Month
This month’s secret tip is to get people to
contact you first. I spent many years doing
this business the old fashioned way by
prospecting strangers and working my
warm market. I am not against using either
of those strategies (they still work).
I’ve found it a lot more enjoyable to build
the business when people contact me first.
Simply put, I become the hunted rather than
the hunter.
I advertise so people reach out to me. Sure,
not everyone who calls me joins my team,
but many folks do. Best of all, I simply
answer questions and share information.
It’s fun and stress free! You should try it
some time.

Using Free Information to Grow Your
MLM Business
One of my keys to building my business is to
give away something free to generate leads.
I personally give away a free audio CD called
“How to Find the Right MLM Company” to
get direct mail leads. I give away my free
MLM Boot Camp (email training series) to
build up my email list. And I give away a
free weight loss report for folks potentially
interested in my products.
As I generate
leads, I send
them my free
information
that they
requested. In
addition, I build a relationship with them so
they know me, like me and trust me. When
the timing is right I offer them information
about my business opportunity.
This is known as a two-step or multi-step
selling process. What most network
marketers do is simply advertise their

business opportunity. What they quickly
discover is NOT MANY folks are interested
in their business opportunity.
However, people love FREE INFORMATION.
If you do it right, your free information can
do most of the selling for you.
Here’s what I suggest you do right now:
# 1 Identify a niche to focus on
# 2 Create a free report, audio CD,
newsletter, or giveaway that will interest
people in your target market
# 3 Advertise your free information
# 4 Generate leads
# 5 Follow up with all of your leads with the
free information and provide value
# 6 Let your free information introduce your
prospects to your business opportunity or
products
# 7 Connect with the folks who reach out to
you for more information
This is what I do and it works for me! I
know it can work for you, too!

Training Tip
One of the best
tips I can share
with others is to
get good at
asking
questions! You have two ears and one
mouth for a reason. Use them in that
proportion.
When I have conversations with others, I let
them do most of the talking. I ask questions
and listen. This gives me insider
information so I can QUALIFY them to see if
what I have is a good fit for them AND to
see if I really want to work with that person.
This is what all professionals do. If you’re
doing all the talking you are really missing
out. You’re probably losing a lot of sales,
too.

My Take: Don is my mentor in my company
and he’s a legend in the industry. The truth
is you can sponsor as many folks as you
want, but if none of them do anything you
are wasting your time. It’s better to work in
depth than to just keep sponsoring
personally.
