Kursk
August 2000. A British hunter-killer submarine is onpatrol in the Arctic.
The crew drill, sleep, eat, long for word from home, andsilently shadow their target. Their lives are at onceextraordinary and mundane – until a tragic event occursthat makes them question everything they are doing.Inspired by the Russian submarine disaster of August2000, Kursk invokes the life of submariners, fathomsbelow the icy seas on the fraying front line of the Cold War.
Following sell-out runs on tour and in London, SydneyOpera House host the first international performancesof Kursk.

Electric HotelFuel presents
Conceived and directed by David RosenbergChoreographed and co-directed by Frauke Requardt
Electric Hotel is a lonely, bizarre and beautiful outdoorspectacle; a uniquely designed, fly-by-night hotelbrought to vivid life through dance and sound.Sitting on the outside looking in, the audience snatchglimpses of the do-not-disturb lives unfolding behindthe floor to ceiling windows.
Wearing headphones to eavesdrop on the internalspaces of the building, they watch the residents in theirprivate rooms: natural habits, unnatural fantasies andwildly eccentric housekeeping.

Going Dark
How far can you see? A mile? A hundred miles? Or tothe furthest shores of the universe to a far awaygalaxy? It’s Max’s job to ask the cosmic questions.Passionate about astronomy, he works as the narratorat the city’s Planetarium but in a society happier toexplore the stars in a wax works musuem, he feelsincreasingly out of place.
When his own life takes an unexpected turn, Maxdiscovers that understanding the universe requires adifferent kind of vision…
Sound&Fury use their innovative theatre vocabulary ofimmersive surround sound design, total darkness andimaginative lighting in Going Dark to reawaken ourwonder at the cosmos and reveal how one man’svision becomes illuminated by darkness.
