July 7th Art, Wine and All That Jazz Walk Tasting Hours 6:00-9:00

Welcome to the Downtown Issaquah Association’s Art, Wine and All That Jazz series. As you stroll through Downtown Issaquah, explore the galleries, studios and businesses offering extended hours and sip on your favorite local wines while you enjoy sizzling jazz from nationally acclaimed musicians. Visit with artists across all mediums including photography, sculpture, painting, woodworking, jewelry and more featured along the streets and in local shops. Main Street shops and restaurants are open to the general public during the wine walk and those under 21 may attend the tasting areas. Tastings are available only to those with a wristband who have purchased the Wine Passport. Purchase wine tonight at 10% off at each tasting location! Proceeds from this event support future programs and services for Downtown Issaquah provided by The Downtown Issaquah Association. Purchase a bottle of wine at Wine Walk and enjoy it with your dinner with no corkage fees, tonight only, at participating restaurants – Bukara, Fins, Issaquah Brew House, Max World Take Out, Levitate, Mandarin Garden and Stan’s BBQ. Alcohol is not allowed on the street. All alcohol must be consumed in the tasting locations. This is a Washington State Law. Restrooms are located at the historic Shell Station, Issaquah Library, Train Depot, Village Theatre and First Stage Theatre.

Village Theatre-303 Front Street North Lloyd Chisholm Quartet – Lloyd is an International Jazz recording Artist, Educator and Performer whose bop influenced jazz has been featured in major festivals all over the world for decades. This group also features this past year Ear Shot's Seattle’s Jazz Artist of the Year, Bill Anschell. Sol Stone is a producer of small lot wines sourced from distinguished Washington state vineyards. Winemaker and owner Buzz Buckingham creates Bordeaux, Burgundy and Rhone varietal wines in a converted building on the grounds of the family’s pastoral home in Sammamish, Washington.

4. Experience Tea - Art by Fire – 195 Front Street Artisan producer Masquerade Wine Company makes unique red, white, and sparkling wines from the first vineyards in the Pacific Northwest. Visit their tasting room in Bellingham, shared with their companion brewery, Illuminati Brewing Company.

5. artEAST Art Center – 95 Front Street North Bob Hammer and Chris Clark Duo- Bob Hammer has many high honors to his name including arranging for Charles Mingus who called him “his Beethoven”. Located in North Bend, Pearl & Stone Wine Company specializes in handcrafted premium wines with a commitment to the local community.

6. First Stage Theatre- 120 Front Street North Bernie Jacobs Trio inspired by a class of exceptional jazz flautists fluent as multi-instrumentalists, Jacobs has established himself as a versatile musician who crosses over genres as easily as he moves between flute, saxophone and microphone”- Earshot Jazz. Keira Cellars, family owned and operated with a passion for winemaking.

7. Yum-E Yogurt – 94 Front Street North Groove with the kids from "The Cool School Jazz-Student All-Star Ensemble” led by our local jazz legend- Lloyd Chisholm.

8. Small Cakes- 94 Front Street North Love truffles? Be sure to stop in and experience hand rolled truffles created in small batches by owner and Le Cordon Bleu Chef Alex Spears. Using local ingredients and her personal recipe collection you will be surprised and delighted with several divine flavor selections.

9. Issaquah Library – 10 Sunset Way Adrice Wines- embrace patience and passion, fruits sourced from Washington and California, paired with wine-making duo Pam and Julie … the perfect blend at the heart of Adrice Wines. Rock Academy teen bands from Kaleidoscope School of Music, playing a wide variety of rock and pop covers.

10. Train Depot – 78 First Ave NE The Cascade Jazz Quartet creates elegant, passionate, & daring JAZZ! Wilridge Winery is Seattle's oldest and Washington's greenest winery, operating in Madrona since 1988 with organic and Demeter Certified Biodynamic Estate wines as well as a great variety of wines produced from grapes grown in some of the top Washington vineyards.

11. Fresh- The Juice Bar- 90 Front Street South Catherine and Harold Drews Quintet- Miles Davis once said: "Jazz is Social Music" this group in their joyful way are the personification of this quote....their performance is a Jazz Party! Love That Red Winery is a small and exclusive winery that showcases the best in Washington State red wine varietals. Blending world-class red wines with the sport of kings horseracing.

12. Capri Cellars - 88 Front Street South Free wine tasting - open till 9pm.
