In 2010, BGSU launched a comprehensive initiative to strengthen the Fraternity & Sorority Life program. Join this commitment to improve the services offered to members, increase membership, and construct state-of-the-art houses for chapters. Your commitment will honor our historic past and create a future, showcasing everything that the fraternity and sorority community has to offer for years to come.

1,700 active members strong; this overall membership has grown to 12.5 percent of the undergraduate student body. Our 39 chapters contribute to an average G.P.A. of 3.127, and involvement outside of the classroom is at an all-time high with 40,000 hours of community service completed and $100,000 raised for charity annually.

In August 2016, new Greek housing will open, providing a home to a thriving community of student leaders. These homes will be at the center of every memory undergraduates have during their time with their chapter.

Opportunities for InvestmentEvery day, current undergraduate members and staff are working to improve the fraternal experience at BGSU, and alumni are the key component to a chapter’s long-term success. Here are a few ways that alumni are encouraged to support their chapters:

1. Scholarships for undergraduate chapter members will provide significant financial assistance to make college more affordable.

2. Programming Support provides chapters with resources to offer leadership opportunities for members as well as to offset annual fees associated with the new housing.

3. Greek Housing Upgrades to customize and enhance aspects of the common areas within the new houses.

4. Select Naming Opportunities for site enhancements.
