What is fitness?

Fitness is a state of health and well being.

Today, you will be doing different exercises to see how they affect your heart. Having a strong heart is an important part of fitness.

need oxygen to live.

1. Your heart beats slower when you are resting.

2. Your heart beats faster when you are moving. The more or faster you move, the

faster your heart beats.

Find your heart rate!WATCH THE VIDEOS BY CLICKING ON THE ICON TO FIND OUT HOW TO TAKE YOUR PULSE AND FIND YOUR HEART RATE. USE THE ONE YOU LIKE THE BEST. COUNT HOW MANY TIMES YOU FEEL YOUR PULSE IN ONE MINUTE.

BECAUSE YOU ARE PROBABLY SITTING OR STANDING STILL, THIS WILL BE A SLOWER HEART RATE.
