Objectives

• Offer greater Communications Capacity in support of First 5 LA grantees

• Educate and inform parents, caregivers key stakeholders of First 5 LA initiatives and outcomes

• Expand reach to other key targets (e.g., Stakeholders, Policy Makers, Strategic Partners)

• Provide utility to all First 5 LA departments and support for key projects

Strategies

• Use the web as the key information hub for First 5 LA’s initiatives and accomplishments

• Establish first5la.org as a useful aggregator of content and links on early childhood development

• Create a framework that is easy to maintain• Create a dynamic, scalable web platform which

meets current needs and enables efficient future development

• Leverage existing web content, internal projects/processes, and technology systems
