Dear Stakeholder,
2017 was a truly extraordinary year, one thatallowed us to enhance and contribute tosustainability not only as a business but alsoas a driving force of digitization in our society.
We made remarkable progress over the last 12months. With every new client that we served andevery organization that we helped propel into thedigital realm, our sustainability impact grew stronger.
While we are engaged in countless initiatives, webelieve that our biggest impact has been in ourway of contributing to a more digital and thusmore sustainable future by enabling and actively encouraging organizations to digitize and use less paper.
With our evolving sustainability and corporate responsibility priorities in mind, we have continuedto develop InfoCare, our data-driven sustainability initiatives that include three critical mission platforms, namely, InfoGreen, InfoSave and InfoGrow.
Through InfoGreen, for example, we have launched initiatives and solutions that aim to raise awareness and have environmental impacts. One of these noteworthy
initiatives, our GreenBox service, has grown significantly in 2017 where we distributed989 boxes and increased our GreenBox office presence by 45%. This has allowed us to save23% more paper – 135,926kg to be exact.
Furthermore, in order to empower our workforce,we provided our staff with a total of 18 tailored training sessions throughout 2017. We’ve introduced a new e-learning program across our network thathas reduced learning time by almost 60%. We have also kept a close eye on our carbon footprint and continue to observe our office energy releases, water consumption and transport emissions.
We have also made significant progress in developing digital skills amongst the communities we work in. Through our recently formed partnerships with organizations such as AIIM, the Emirates Collegeof Technology, The German University of Technology in Oman, and Al-Rud’ha, we strive to enhance the skills of the youth.
We are proud to have been recognized by theDubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry for our corporate social responsibility and sustainability efforts in 2017. This recognition reaffirms our belief in the pursuit of a higher purpose, one thatis focused on humanity, the environment and the youth. We are pleased to present to you with our exceptional 2017 sustainability report that looksat our achievements, learnings and commitments. We hope this report not only instils confidence in our deeply rooted devotion and perseverance in catalyzing a more sustainable future but that it also inspires you, our stakeholders, to contribute and be an active part of these efforts.

Initiatives and solutions that aim to raise awareness and have environmental impacts. Examples of these are solutions and practices for reducing paper consumption, carbon foot print and recycling to name a few.
With the advent of new technologies, a common misconception is that we operate in a paperless business ecosystem. Research suggests a document, on average is copied 9 to 11 times and more than 50% of office waste is paper. These alarming figures predict an increasing rate in paper consumption.” For this reason, InfoFort launched in June 2014 its GreenBox service – a 100 % free service main purpose is to contribute to a sustainable eco-system that aims to create:
